I have followed all three walkthrus plus UHS and have done it all. But the safe doesn't open. I have double checked the "directions" and always turned the dials to the left. It is perfect ....WAAAAA What's wrong? I saw in one walkthru that they put the solutions into the "report" and then it opened. Stymied me.
Thanks for any help. Doris (wishing it was autumn in Florida)

Remember:
-Make the holes on the paper at the Salon. That Salon holed paper is the one used on the plate at the Library upstairs.
-Make the holes on the paper at the library. That Library holed paper is the one used on the plate at the Salon downstairs.
- When you superimpose either one of those papers on the correct plate, you will see letters. It is important that you click so that those letters are entered in your reports-documents. If you don't then the game does not know that you have done this part.Double check and see if they are entered in reports.
- You should have 2 sets of letters now: one from the Salon and one from the library in reports.
- Use those letters - which really are compass directions on the dials of the safe at the Salon.

Aha, I entered them into the report and checked to make sure both were there. But the safe didn't open ??? I promise I did the dials correctly. I double checked them more than once.
Whatcha think? Thanks, Doris

Hi Doris,

If you could make a screenshot of the safe with the dials turned, and e-mail it to me, I'll double-double check it for you. Alternatively I have a save game if you would prefer that. smile

Thank you but I will go back and check once again myself. Is the safe behind the picture with the wheels? Or in other words, how will I know when it opens? Doris

Yes, the safe is directly behind the set of dials that you have turned. It will swing open when correctly set.

Well, you were right, I had been sloppy and had the dials wrong. Thank you! Doris
