I happened across these two games listed with The Adventure Company, Dreamcatcher as the publisher on Amazon.com. I've since confirmed their North American release with The Adventure Company. Treasure Island is set for release at the end of October and Book of Unwritten Tales for the end of November. Thank you Becky I wonder if Treasure Island is this one from Radon Labs that seems to be forgotten until now. There is a German Trailer and a German Demo available here... Treasure Island It is Point and Click as this states at the Radon Labs website. The Game
"Treasure Island" is an 3D adventure game based on the classic bestseller novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. The game combines traditional, simple Point and Click controls and gameplay with breathtaking realtime 3D graphics and SFX. The quests range from simple switches, mini-games, item-combination etc. to complex logical and dialogue-driven tasks. The game's difficulty and dynamics are focused on fluid gameplay and superior entertainment.
I also wonder if this game was released a while ago (2008) in Germany by HMH Interactive as there is a patch listed on the games site. Could be there are some German reviews out there. Glad to see the Adventure Company still going strong and signing up more games.

That's a wonderful news Becky! I too hope that the Treasure Island is the one by Radon Labs, and I can't wait to play Book of Unwritten Tales! Hopefully Dave will get them for us soon

Upsydaisy When I checked Amazon.UK the listing sure enough was for the Video game that we are talking about but when reading the descriptions from the sellers including the one for sale used they all said it was a book. Is Diverse a book publisher as it looks as though HMH Interactive may be the European distributor for Treasure Island and The Book of Unwritten Tales. GabrielK Thanks for the info. Do you know of any links to a German review that can be translated with Babblefish for Treasure Island?

No , Ana I did not play it....I called it a real treasure because from what I see of the screenshots & what people are saying...Its got to be a real treasure to play...  Treasure Island Looks Great as well.... Is there any info on that game here at Boomers....I must of missed it  Or forgot

I am playing The Book of Unwritten Tales at the moment, in German because I could not wait for the English version to be released  Bought it back in August when I was in Cologne for the GamesConvention. So far, I am enjoying myself a lot with it, although it seems a bit on the easy side (which is fine by me, considering German is not my first language - might have had difficulties understanding what was going on otherwise).
I'll be back, one day, when I feel like it.

We used to carry a link to Treasure Island in the Recent Releases and Upcoming Games page, but months passed without any news of the game, so we eventually took it down. There's more than one Treasure Island game -- this one is not to be confused with Destination: Treasure Island, for instance. I'm waiting for confirmation from TAC that the Radon Labs Treasure Island game is the one they're publishing. For links to reviews of Treasure Island (I'm assuming the reviews will mostly be in German) visit Adventure Archiv, click on "Ti-Tz" in the alphabetical listings near the top of the web page, and then scroll down to Treasure Island.

Didn't think to check out Moby Games. Even though the translation is hard to understand I can get enough out of those German reviews and scoring to at least keep this game on my radar.

This is great news! I've been wanting The Book of Unwritten Tales for a long time now. My only concern is that my computer may not be able to play it. Does anyone know what the specs are? I have an XP system, P4 with hyperthreading, 3.2 with 2 Gig of Ram and an Nvidia 7900GS card. Tried to find info on Amazon, Tac and Dreamcatcher, but couldn't even find the game on TAC and Dreamcatcher.  Edit: Nevermind, I finally found the specs and I CAN play it! This is one I will be getting as soon as it is released!
