Hi there everyone. Basically I'm just stopping by to tell you about my adventure game that I'm making with a small team. It's in it's early stages at the moment but I'm hoping to finish it and release the game commercially. It's called Mapoco Mountain. http://i40.tinypic.com/5by692.png InfoMapoco Mountain is the first game being developed by Law 24 Studios. It’s a 2D point and click adventure based in the fantasy world of Astrumn Earth (if you like Studio Ghibli worlds you'll love this). The game has a sensible level of comedy but also has serious undertones with a submersing storyline. Can you help Malakey discover himself? Will he conquer his greatest fears and fulfill his destiny? Or will he stay hidden in Elkwood Forest for years to come? Take Malakey on a journey and get lost in the wondrous land of Astrumn Earth. All hand drawn backgrounds, 30+ hours of game play, animated cutscenes and a simple point and click interface to control the game. “Down on his luck and uncertain of his future after losing his job as an apprentice clockmaker, Malakey Wigwam is looking for a little adventure in his life. Whilst drowning his sorrows one night, he accidentally stumbles across something sinister. Something dangerous and corrupt. He soon discovers that his knowledge of a strange plan to weaken the Warrior army could endanger his own life. Through the mayhem of fallen heroes assisting his escape and an unwanted companion in the form of a talking mouse, Malakey manages to sustain a sarcastic yet humbling outlook on his diminishing life. Has he bitten off more than he can chew? Play as Malakey Wigwam, an underdog reluctantly pushed onto the broken path of adventure. Scale an original fantasy world, interact with weird and wonderful characters, solving puzzles and discovering hidden truths lost in history. Guide Malakey as he sails across treacherous seas and rides upon gigantic mammals to eventually reach his destination of Mapoco Mountain.” Release DatePossibly late 2010 depending on financial support. Help RequiredWe need help with a lot of things, mainly artists and animators at the moment so if you feel you could seriously help this project in some way get in touch with me (JJ) at law.24@live.co.uk. If anyone has any questions I'd be more than happy to answer them .

Hi guys, another quick update, we're in need of a 3D modeller (that can make it 2D rendered). Check here for more info http://forum.dead-code.org/index.php?topic=3896.0 (and a sneak peak of some new artwork!)

The thread is older than 90 days so it is not possible for you to edit JarJar, if you wish to tell me what you want it to say, I will be happy to edit it for you or you are welcome to start a new thread. Ana

Twitter Feedback for DevelopmentHi everyone, just to say progress is going great the demo should be ready by next month. Also If you're on twitter be sure to follow us www.twitter.com/mapocomountain. All day tomorrow and Sunday we'll be tweeting asking for your opinions on what makes adventure games great. We'll be asking questions like what are your favourite kind of puzzles, characters, mechanics? etc. The feedback we receive will help us make a better well rounded game for everyone and will help with the development of Mapoco Mountain. Also follow for the latest updates first . Thanks, JJ. ____
