Before you can solve this puzzle, you should have studied the map with the wind rose (direction clue) and the paper with the colored numbers (sequence number). Those are your clues for the hooks puzzle.

So turn the hooks in correct sequence from left to right (53214) and in the correct directions as shown by the wind rose (SW NW SE W NE).

I have been trying to get into palace, but am having trouble jumping in. I guess I'm doing something wrong. I wait for bell to ring, but can't jump in.

Hi Sandra,

I merged the new thread you made with your existing one for this game. It helps us if you stay with one thread per game, so that we can follow your gameplay. You can find all your posts by clicking on My Place at the top of the page. thanks

When you climb up to the top of the wall, do you see the guard down below on the bench, or is the area clear? If the area is clear, move your cursor to the path beyond the wall at right of screen - an arrow should appear and you'll be able to make the jump down.

Try following this step-by-step:

- You'll find the game folder in My Documents.

- Save both files to your desktop (don't try to open them).

- Then make sure to renumber both files so that they will appear sequentially last in the game folder (they need to be the same number, as the 2 files make up one save).

- Then copy and paste both files across into the folder.

- Exit the folder, start up your game as usual and load the new save - you will need to scroll down through the saves to find the new one.

luck

Are you using MSN/hotmail?
Are you using IE8?

This is from an internet site (here and the solution given that helped is:
All of these attachment problems have to do with your Add-ons. The best thing you can do is run IE 8 w/out add-ons. To do so click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

If you have any other problems - please explain with more information at Glitches forum. They might help you, if you add what mail server, what browser and description of what you tried to do. luck
