Thanks Ana, I played the demo and then bought it. I'm playing the adventure mode and I'm liking it. Not your regular HOG or IHOG it's different and I'm enjoying it. Characters are cute and story is good. Very interactive. It's going around town and helping people out.

I was going to completely ignore this one because I thought it was just another time management game. Glad I took notice of your description.

Thanks Ana and GBC

Another great game from Playfirst. Love this- nice to see all the Diner Dash characters about town and hear them talk- and sing.

This game has some fun puzzles and it took me about 4 hours to play.

Well done Playfirst smile

Yep! Thumbs up from me. Some nice brain teasers. I usually hate the memory games, but singing chickens!!

I love this game! I am never into the time management games and hated all the rushing around to deliver food to customers. So when I heard of this game I thought it was the same until I read a Gameboomer review and Ana said it was a light adventure. That peaked my interest and Volia I downloaded the demo and within minutes bought it.

I love the music, voices, puzzles, storyline. I hope they will continue with the light adventure and not go back to time management and I will buy any sequels. There is only one scene that made me want to delete the game and it was keeping up with the aerobics dancing to the music. I finally succeeded beating the 6th level of it, but it was rough and I wouldn't want to do it again.

Please game designers would it really hurt to put in a skip for those of us not fast with the fingers reflexes?

Sherryah, I absolutely agree. I played for an hour last night and it was delightful. It's a "happy" game that just puts you in a good mood. I am loving it and can't wait to get back to it this weekend.

I have sneak peaked 2 upcoming TM games by Playfirst - Hotel Dash and Diner Dash 5. Both excellent and looking forward to those games. They also have 2 other hidden object games coming out, Valerie Porter and Gotcha Celebrity Secrets- so they are now catering to both TM and HOG fans - lucky for me I am both.

Hi All!

I too am enjoying Avenue Flo.

However, I am encountering an odd little problem, and I thought I'd ask here first to see if it was happening to anyone else before saying something to Big Fish.

Sometimes when a character is speaking I can hear the first word or two of the dialogue then I can't hear the rest of the line of the dialogue. It doesn't happen everytime, just often enough to be annoying. think

I'm curious to see what you have to say.

Q, if you click the mouse it cuts off the dialogue. If you don't click it works fine for me.

Hi Ana!

Thanks for your help.

Well - unfortunately I'm not clicking and it's still happening. When I get home tonight I'm going to try it on a different computer.

So far I've really been enjoying the voice acting and I don't want to miss any. smile

Someone else on the Big Fish forums was talking about their sound cutting out with this game, so perhaps this is a problem with certain sound cards/drivers? duh

Thanks Marian - but today doesn't seem to be my day.

I tried on two different computers to send the completed customer support form to Big Fish, and I get a pop up box that says - Windows Internet Explorer - Ajax request failure: Cleanse Error. The request doesn't go thru - the little circle aside of check for answers on the Big Fish screen doesn't stop spinning.

Anyone have any idea what this means? duh

Hi Ana!

No, I'm not a member, so if I want a live chat I guess I must join.

Thanks for the info Marian. I followed your suggested link and made the changes to my IE and the support page still wouldn't work (still getting Ajax request failure). I'm really confused, because I contacted Big Fish support from this computer before with no problems. Oh well.

I saw a few other posts on Big Fish that other people are having the same dialogue cutting out problem. So hopefully Big Fish is aware of the problem.

What a delightful game! I got my monthly credit yesterday and was set to get Puppet Show or Reincarnations, but, instead, got Avenue Flo. The unusual mini-games, coupled with voice acting, cute story, etc. just got to me. I had to see what was around the next corner! I would think this one will do very well in the stores - Target, etc. But, why wait for that when we BFG members can get it for only $6.99.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I am a lurker kind of fan here at Game Boomers. Those precious few who might stray across my path are usually sending me a saved game to get past some dastardly puzzle, etc.

However, I'd really like to take the time and highly recommend this game. It's utterly adorable; it's not simple-minded; it's fantabulisticexpialidocious. It goes without saying it's an IHOG/"Adventure Lite" but it has a certain sense of humor encapsulating a kind of fun that not all "adventure-lite" or IHOGs manage.

You've no reason to take it from me, since I rarely comment here, but if there's anyone on the fence about this game I sincerely suggest you take the plunge and buy it. It's one of my favorites this year and this is coming from someone who buys 15-20 games from BFG a month. (Yes, I've had my "Biggest Fish" chip for about a month now. In fact, I was slightly perplexed as to what the package was as I didn't know it was coming!)

I can only hope this comes across in the spirit it's intended and hope I've placed this in the appropriate forum category. If not, I deeply apologize.

Cheers and scary Boos to the great Gameboomers community! You guys rock and I'm deeply grateful this community exists. This is my teeny attempt to contribute to it.

Adso, I'd love to hear your opinion anytime. Glad you came and posted about the game, I too was delighted with it and found you just couldn't help but find yourself smiling while playing.

Thanks Ana. I feel like a heel when all I do is ask people for help and don't more thoroughly contribute. I agree Avenue Flo was just a charming game all around. Thanks for the feedback.
