Ah. Now I understand.

You did the tree-squirrel puzzle, went back to the bedroom; made noise and got reprimanded by Paige.

What you do is be sure that you have completed the tree-squirrel puzzle. There are 3 parts to this. Be sure that you reached the top of the tree.
From there there will be a cutscene and you will end up in your bedroom. You can proceed from there.

Hi MaG....4 starburst tokens..in cellar and look
at slats..says 4 starburst tokens are auto. into
4 indents. Question..at this time I only have
3 starbursts in Inventory. Should I have 4..can

Here are the locations of each of the tokens, check and see which one you are missing:

1 - in the squirrel's tree
2 - in the piano's secret compartment
3 - in the cutlery display cabinet
4 - in the raven's secret compartment

Do you have the menu from Leela, and examined it in inventory?
Do you also have the Formal Victorian Dining book, and read it from cover to cover?

You can choose the game you want to play for the menu card, so you could play Leela at air hockey if you prefer that.

I obtained the menu card earlier in the game - I can send you a save after solving the cutlery puzzle if you would like that instead, only my gameplay doesn't follow the walkthrough so you'd need to check against the task list to see what's already been done. Just let me know.

Have you checked the display case and saw that Leela checked out the menu?
Have you asked Leela about the menu before you played with her? She should say that she will give you the menu if you beat her in the game.

The sequence of actions should be:
- You read Hallowell's journal stating With a Celebratory Dinner, an elegant nine course meal serf with perfect etiquette. I bid the last of them farewell.
- So now you try to expand that clue by winning the menu from Leela.
- You also need to check the computer using the search word - Menu. It will show a book that was borrowed by Rachel.
- You then ask Rachel for that book. You have to do something for her before she lends it to you.
- You then study that book.
- You are now ready to arrange or do the puzzle of the flatware in the display case.

So doing the 10 flatware now will not show any result. You have to do the above actions first.

Bear with me, I'm lost as to what you have done even after reading your previous post.

Have you taken the pictures of all the valedictorian candidates, uploaded them, told Rachel about the uploaded pictures?
Have you done the web page of the valedictorians now that the pictures are uploaded?
Have you read all the pages of Hallowell's journal?
Has Rachel asked you to take pictures of the Waverly icons?

Hi MaG...I really have things confused because of
the Photo bits,etc. I backed up..way back to
Valedictorian webpage..got all right..she said
so..took list of icons(in inventory)..went to
Mel about plagiarized paper..and here is where
real problem started..she does not talk about
the paper(needed)..I skipped and to computer and
entered WT list and got,of course, Web page is
under construction, check back later...
If you have no answer why Mel does not talk about
the paper, I think will leave game until later
date...thanks for help..Chuck...

Hi, Chuck!

Did you receive a text message that Mel had plagiarized her paper? Until that happens, she won't talk to you about it.

Assuming you have put all of the pictures in order with the correct names, hometowns and subjects and Rachel gave you the list of icons to take more pictures of, you should be able to upload them to the computer once you've read the list. Are you clicking your camera on the drive first?

Sometimes when you follow a walkthru, you forget to do the little things, like take the lists from your inventory and read them. Until you do that, nothing will trigger the game to allow you to upload the pictures.

Read the messages in your cellphone. One of them should be about Mel plagiarizing a submitted paper.
Once you have read that text message - talk to Mel about it.
If you have the list of the Waverly icons and have read it in inventory, you can start taking pictures of them.
Once you have some of the pictures, you can then download them to the computer.

I have a question. I love doing the snack shop but when I get a teacher order, I always do it wrong, but I have no idea what I mess up. I try to follow the list of ingrediants, but Nancy always says "Do over".
