Just started playing the game and stuck trying to put the right two numbers in the door. Great game. I figured out the hangman puzzle.

Richard, since the mannequin in the bedroom is a key, look at it closely and see a number given by the hand and another number given by the legs.

Have fun.

It's not an obvious number. Use the look icon on the mannequin, it gives you a clue. smile

I have one shredding page from the sketchbook that I pick up on the sofa in the house.

I'm now in a room with what looks to be a chess floor with some shreds of the sketchbook and a female form is approaching from the back of the room.

I seem to be missing a piece to complete the pieces on the ground.

Where could that second piece be?

Thanks for your help.

The second piece is in a locked drawer in the Geimann art gallery, but the key to it is from the previous area. You might have seen it. smile

auriond I still can't figure the numbers to the door in the bedroom. Can you e-mail them to me? Thanks so much for the numbers.

Richard, I've emailed you the solution. smile

Chief, the key is not immediately obvious. When you come in the front door, turn around. You should see the key then, but at that point Martin doesn't want to go taking other people's keys. You have to speak to Giuseppe to find out Martin's unique situation before he'll go around picking up random objects.

auriond, I finaly got the key and the scrap and replayed to the chess room and used those two scraps on the others on the floor.

Now, if I could get rid of that woman form coming at me. I have the traps. I guess I need to put them at the proper place.

LadyLinda, I do not know what you consider to be a dead end, but like in all games, if you miss something, you must get back and get it and replay so that the missing piece will follow you. In this game, you get back using your saved games.

To get that piece, I did miss a key that I could not pick up the first time but was accessible later and forgot to go back to get it.

I hope this did not happen to you.

Have fun with the game.

You can definitely finish the game without it, and possibly even get all endings without it. So in that sense, no, not a dead end.

Yes, this is where I am at. I only have 1 scrap of paper and I don't have the key.

I consider it to be a dead end if I cannot retrieve what I missed, and then continue where I left off, without having to replay parts of the game. The game should not have let me leave that room unless I had the key and in this case, there is alot that happened between where that key is and where I am now.

Edit: So how can I continue without this 2nd piece of paper?????

Lady Linda. I just replayed the part about the scraps of paper.

I was just focused on doing the page puzzle with the scraps and did not realise that the opening at the other end of the room was reachable.

Thanks. I will correct that in the WT.
