I can't find the lunch box. Read somewhere it is in Utility room. I am very confused, where is this room and how do I get to this room? There are so many rooms, probably been there but...
Guess I better stick to the Nancy Drew games, more my type.

Yes, I have 2 different WTs. Most time the technician won't talk to me. I have 2 office doors open, can't use computer. Don't have the maintenance terminal icon, had it once, don't now.
So, I guess there are more things I have to do and get.
I will go back to some of my earlier saves and see if I can figure it out.

The lunch box is in the maintenance room.
Enter the transmitter to go to the platform.
At the platform, go right until you see Mondra's glider.
Talk to the tech and he'll mention the maintenance room at right.
Enter that room then.

I have restarted this game at least 5 or 6 times. Each time something else gives me problem.

Now I have Almo Martel in inventory, Ulan Soso also.. Got the Hurry, hurry, hurry message.Then use Soso on computer, get the Swoon Omega minuscule.

Here where I get stuck. Supposed to Mondra's office, see the singing crystals sing and see technician to get the maintenance terminal to work. I don't see the tech guy this time. Did one time but not this time. I've done all the things I can from WT.

Do you or someone have a save game after this point ? If so I would like to go on and get somewhere .I'm tired of starting over and over.

Double check the broken terminal. He should mentions that it needs to be repaired and you get a maintenance terminal icon now.
Use that maintenance terminal icon on the robotic tech that is repairing something outside.
he will send for the other tech guy to show up.

i started at beginning, followed WT all the way. At the point of reading Mondra's door number and going back to hanger. enter through red door, don't see any tech or lunch box.

But I'm beginning to wonder if I have another problem. Am I supposed to be able to see the technician as a figure (man) to talk to? All I ever see , if I move cursor around is a small white rectangle with a few dots and a ? mark on it. I can talk to this box like thing and it talks to me. So, maybe I have a
problem here.

Is there a place where I can ask this question here somewhere?

I think you might not be at the correct place.

Mondra's office is by the singing crystals which is at the left end of the hall with monitors.
The right end of that hallway is where the offices of Perry and the other men are located.

Now - the Hangar is accessed by using the transmitter (transporter).
Depending of where that transporter-transmitter was last used is where you will end up in.
If by luck you enter - you might end up at the hangar.
This hangar is where Mondra's glider is located.

In front of Mondra's glider is the maintenance room door.
There is a tech working beside the glider also.

So please think of what you want to do and go to that place.

I am in the room where I set up the number FOR Rondras room, not in her room. But in the room where I have set up tubes to light up all three rooms. When I entered this door I was supposed to see the tech and his lunch box. He is across from the tube setup, right?
I've been back and forth through these screens at least 20 times. following your WT to the letter. Done everything , as far as I can see. I don't see a tech, beside the glider either,just a black head.
Thats why I'm thinking I don't have enough memory or something, because I don't see the tech men like a friend of mine does see them.
Thanks for trying to help I'll see if I can get this friend to come and show me how.

The tech will be in that room after:
- You notice that the maintenance terminal is not woeking correctly and would say so. You would then the maintenance icon in inventory.
- You talked to the tech outside this room and he will say he can't fix it but he will call a tech that could.
- Talking to the tech knows how to fix the terminal by the singing crystal.

Then you will find him at the Maintenance room.

Finally got through this part. I get a message like "low on virtual memory" and think that may be my problem. But I see from former and just a new bunch of another person's problems here online that I'm not the only one that couldn't see the techs..

But I think I know how to find these spots now and am going on with game . I will check EI's pages if I have same problems.

It's finding the different locations, talking to the people there and checking them out that will show the techs.

I am down to the mine section, in the washroom. I click on the lockers, but don't see any codes at bottom of them. Tried using the positronic key, on lockers, nothing happens. Lockers don't look green either. Have looked all around washroom. Don't know what else to do.
I have gone through all former levels, at least notebook seems done for all of them. Any idea what to do now?
I have read former hints about washroom, but are past this point.
Never thought I'd get this far, so hope I can get all the way to end.TIA for any help

Are you sure you're in the washroom?

I am where the sinks and lockers are, so I think s0. I use the positronic key on the sinks. Also above the lockers, where I get a message about putting code numbers in key. Now I have some tape, I guess, which is wrapped around the arrachieda stick. Tried using that all over, nothing happens. It's driving me nuts, please help !!

See if what Bert states would work for you:

Use your positronic key on the left most locker. Use your positronic key on the left most hole above the sinks. Examine the lowered locker to get a metal rod.

Use your positronic key on the left most locker. Use your positronic key on the first from left hole above the sinks. Examine the lowered locker to get a tool.

Use your positronic key on the left most locker. Use your positronic key on the second from left hole above the sinks. Examine the lowered locker to get a roll of tape. Exit the room.

I think I goofed up now. I had the 3 items above. But already used the tape on the first stick I had and now don't have it to put on the metal rod. So I guess I have to go back to where I still have tape in inventory, if I can figure out how to put that save back on screen !. If thats the only way to get it back? wish me luck


Tried to open folder with the saved files while online and get message can't open it. I don't know what to do now. Do you have a save from maybe the beginning of this level of game, the mine level?

You do not open the folder with saved game files, you use the 'load' function of the game itself. Like your usual gameplay, load, scroll to look for the saved game you want to load and you start on that.


BUT - I think you don't need to go back after doing above, you are okay with the stick - see below.

states:

Walk to the right a little. Look at the circuit box at the wall. Put the arrachieda stick into the circuit box. Ouch... that hurts! In your inventory combine the roll of tape with the arrachieda stick. Use the insulated arrachieda stick on the circuit box. Close the window.

Now walk to the circuit box next to the entrance. Put the metal rod into the circuit box. Look at the circuit box. Flip the two left levers up. Close the window. Notice the yellow blinking light next to the door. Put the admission permission into the blinking mechanism. Now a rails appears above a little mining cart. Step into the mining cart. You can't find it? Well it's parked in front of the circuit box you just fixed with the insulated arrachieda stick.

Thanks for hint on loading a saved game. I am at just entering washroom and will follow WT exactly this time and will go on from , I think.
