Right, how stupid of me - I know this, but I totally forgot she's NOT a hunter! She's a warrior! LOL

Hi ya Cody and to GameBoomers What kind of toons do you have? Do you have a favorite? Thank you very friendly greeting. Well I have a big variety of classes. My favorite classes involve healing though, so Shaman and Priest. A Gameboomers guild cool. I would probably start a new character. Now just to decide on what class..hmmmmm

Debra, new puter=fun. You will have to let me know how the game plays on windows 7. Be watching for your return. Hi Cody! Would love for you to join the guild. If you know of anyone else playing, please tell them about the guild. We need more members. Yeah, were is Karen? It has been awhile since I last seen her play. L4L, your son gave me some great tips on how to play my warlock. Pipen is now level 46. Linda

Hmm, reminds me - seems I don't have jewelcrafting as an option. Why is that? I thought we got it with Burning Crusade and I should have it, since we can't install Lich King without it installed, right?

Hi Missalo Just go to the Pet trainer & He gives you a Taming rod and tells you to go use it on a certain animal, when you find & use the taming rod on the animal, hr gives you another animal to tame, you go tame another animal you have to tame 3 animals. and you have to bring all the animals each time back to the trainer B4 they turn on you so you have to hurry back with them. at least that's what you had to do when playing a Night Elf or a Blood Elf I never got any letter either. I only got a letter B4 I got my Mount But I couldn't make a Human Hunter cause the Humans didn't have Hunters when I created mine, how did you make yours?? Hi L4L, Andrea & Lindy, How r u guys doing? I haven't played WoW in over 5 days, not been feeling so hot. I sure miss it. I'll be back playing soon as my leg infection settles down some. Have fun you all!! God Bless~Karen EDIT: Hi again Missalo, I have Jewelcrafting and I only have WoW and The Burning Blade installed. so I think you should have it?

Maybe I'm just looking the wrong place, but when I ask one of those guys in Stormwind, jewelcrafting is not there with the other professions.

MissLilo, The only JC trainer, as far as I know is where the Draenei start in Exodar. That's where I trained my Dwarf Rogue miner in JC. You get there from the dock at Auberdine in Darkshore, Kalimdor. Hope that helps! Karen, hope you feel better very soon! Andrea

I can confirm, that WOW plays just fine on Win7 Pro 64-bit As for your link (thanks a million btw), I think it's spelled with two L's - so it's Allakhazam.com Regarding ADD-ONS: How many of you have graphical interface add-ons installed? I'm thinking of something like nUI / fuBar / kgPanels or X-Perl Unitframes etc. If so, I'd like to hear what you use + additional add-ons. Your favorites so to speak

Good question. I have Auctioneer, Tom Tom, Bartender, X-Perl, and Omen.

L4L, What does X-Perl and Omen do? Is Tom Tom like Cartographer? I'd like to try Auctioneer. I subscribe to Curse for my Add-Ons, but only have Cartogtapher, Gatherer and QuestHelper. Andrea

X-Perl does a lot of customizing to the User Interface as far as displays of things like spell timers and raid and buffs and things like that. Omen is a threat meter so if Soot and I are both attacking, I see how much threat he is drawing and how much I am drawing. As he is the Tank in the group, he needs to draw all the threat so if one particular shot of mine generates a lot of threat, I can drop it from the rotation on that NPC. Tom Tom is like Cartographer. I used to use Cartographer and liked it better as I could use notes with it, but with the latest big patch, my cartographer coordinates were very wonky. So, I'm waiting for them to update it and then I'll switch back.

Thanks, L4L! Appreciate the info. I think this will always be a learning process, and all he help we can give each other is very much appreciated! I have a huge problem downloading add-ons that I can't get via Curse. I have no idea how to put them in the game folder or where to put them, or what parts of them to put in. This is an enormous frustration for me. Since I upgraded to Win7, it's gotten harder since the way the files and folders are displayed has completely changed over XP. I wish I could get someone on the phone to walk me through it, or at least give step by step instructions. Andrea

You can always try Curse.com - that's where I get mine. They have a downloadable client , which you then use to install/uninstall/update all the add-ons you have
