What a pile of fecal matter! It's enough to turn someone to the dark-side. Can't stop to chat though, gotta get down to the post office and intimidate some pensioners waiting to buy their stamps, and possibly kick a puppy or two. Calm...Calm....Calm

It was when I had to search for my apron and tart trays that I lost the will to live. What in G's name is a ******* tart tray. You sure as h*** wouldn't find either in my kitchen. By the way, where is my kitchen? I'm sure I had one!

Cris, your kitchen could have left home while you were playing games on your computer--was it feeling neglected? I know mine sure does. I am trying to teach my stove to cook meals on its own without any help from me, but it won't listen to me LOL

Well, I bought it. I think I will only be playing bits at a time. Actually Cris, I am a fellow Brit--Scottish. I came to Canada when I was 22, in 1968, so I am just about the same age as the lady in the game, only I dye MY hair. You would have loved having to find the eyelash curlers and hair straightener in the bathroom. Reach for the barf bag again LOL

Did I mention the music? I was waiting for the coffin + 10 sombre mourners to burst through the door. I needed some Pogues just to wash out the nasty "taste?" from my ears.

Hi Doreen, I think that's a good idea. It really is a nice game, and it may well be that my monitor (I still have the old clunky CRT type) is a contributing factor to the difficulty of my seeing the items properly.

I like the game... and I'll tell what I like about it.
It seems this game maker did his or her homework and discovered that the majority of people who play HOG's are older women... thus the main character is one we can relate to. I applaud this tactic. And love that they are listening to us.
It's interactive... something else we've been wanting.
Also, the rooms are not just filled with piles of junk.
The graphics are beautiful and there is not TOO much reading.
I didn't think the music was bad and the game is very long so you get your money's worth.
I didn't find the objects too hard to find and the hints are very generous. The story line is excellent.
They've sold me.
Prices are going up everywhere except in our incomes.
