Hi Boomers, I was wondering if anyone else has found the Interact site to be overwhelming in the way they have their games listed. All they have is an alphabetized list consisting of OVER 1800 games. There is no catagorizing on the site other then pc, mac, new or used. I believe it is Dave I have read that everyone here seems to like a lot and I would like to do some purchasing to support Gameboomers and someone you all seem to trust but the way the site is set up it is not purchaser friendly in my opinion. I am hoping he reads these forums and might think about what I have written. Unless you know a particular title you are looking for which, of course, you can type in search to find ...just to "look" through all that is available is "hard work".
Most sites have game categories to filter games into such as adventure, action, RPG, help dvd's, educational etc. etc. The reason being you can browse more easily and do not have to go through lists weighing in at over 1800 titles to see whats available for purchase.
Sorry Dave but your site is in need of an overhaul which in my opinion would certainly raise your sales quite a bit. I am not trying to be rude just honest as I have left your site multiple times without a purchase because I found it overwhelming to continue looking after the first few hundred listings. Patty

Cocoa ....
If you click on "PC Games" at the top of the Interact main page, you'll get a pull-down menu of available game categories.

Interesting that this thread appears at this time. I am so very pleased with this site. I just ordered a game and when it shipped, Dave sent me an email stating that it was the last one he had left and something was rattling inside. He wrote that he would not charge my credit card until the game arrived in case something was wrong. As it turned out it was just a loose promo card that did no damage and I wrote him back to that effect. But that is Customer service with a capital C.
I have no problem navigating his site since you can look by all the categories (new games, upcoming games genres etc.) But Dave is the perfect example of a small company providing excellent service.
3 cheers to Dave.
You laugh because I'm different I laugh because you're all the same
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Hello all, Cocoa, you're absolutely correct - our site needs an overhaul. It's about 12 years old at this point and is definitely showing it's age. I understand your complaint, although I'm not real sure how it's different from other sites, or what we could do to improve it. Can you "browse" adventure games on Amazon? (As others have already pointed out, we do have our games broken down by genre). As much as I would love to be, we're really not an information or research site, we're the place you come when you already know what you want and you appreciate decent customer service. As for the overhaul, don't hold your breath. As long as the chewing gum and duct tape hold up, the site will pretty much remain as is. -dave Interact! (Thanks to everyone else for the kind words. Boomers are the best!)

Dave, I have never purchased a game from Interact before but after reading oldman's post and the other Gameboomers reviews that is going to change. I am hoping that the Ankh 2/3 bundle is going to be released along with the new Secret Files game soon.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

OMG ...I have to apologize to Dave and Interact! I will rush there after my humble "public" one here. I cannot believe I have never noticed the drop down menus under each system catagory. So many times I was there stuggling through sometimes lists of over 1000 games checking the inventory for something that I might want. Again this dunce is sorry for her ignorance and hopes Dave understands and forgives. Patty

With out Dave I don't know where I would go for my adventure games. My local Gamespot has nothing but RG games and the small selection of Adventure games is a shame. Hats off to Dave for his superior service and the personal attention to his customers needs. Dave is my go to source for all of my games.
