Am at the part with the map fragments. Could I please get a saved game for this? I am usually good with puzzles, but all of this looks the same to me and don't get the "two segment/part" idea. Thank you!

Thanks, MaG. Where, exactly, are the saved games? I found a folder called "ChoM2" and also several files not in a separate folder, entitled "datazen01,vbf," and other similar names. Thanks.

Hi Laurette,

If you have XP, the saved game folder is in My Documents.

MaG: The map is not done. However, I did manage to do it myself. Not as hard as I had thought. Thanks.

Just wondered - did you check at start of the Load list for the installed saved game?

I believe your save game was something like 003; I changed it to 007. However, none of the games I got had the map done. Anyway, it worked out great for me (to know I'm smarter than I thought!).

Am now at the part avoiding "green eyes." w/t says "zoom in on the shredder on the floor right of the table." I cannot see any shredder. There are two tables - one by the man and the other on the left. Where is the shredder? Thank you.

The shredder is to the right of the table on the left. It's tucked up close, difficult to spot it.

Am at the part with the dog and gate. I go to one gate (run) to put dog food down. Dog is there. Go (run) to other gate. Dog is there. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

Hi Laurette,

I merged your two threads for this game.

Do you see the dog starting to eat the food before you run to the other gate? Are you double-clicking/running all the way to the gate, and not taking too long between double-clicks? Do you have the metal ring in inventory? There's a side gate there which needs to be pulled to and then secured as quickly as possible so that the dog won't be able to reach you.

I can't even put the food by the gate. The dog is always there (at both). I have the metal ring. Yes, I do run, from gate to gate, and the dog is always at both. I may need a saved game for this. Please advise. Thanks.

Is the can of meat opened?
If so, give it to dog at the big gate.
Then go to the small gate at side street immediately. Double click to run.
Once at the small gate - open that gate and place the metal ring on gate to hold it in place. luck

Yes, the can is open. When I try to give it to the dog, (if I remember correctly), she says she doesn't want to become dogfood. Should I just keep trying or am I missing something? Thanks.

Sounds as though you might not have triggered the reason for Sylvie to give the dog the can of food yet. Did you read/click on the address on the parcel at the police station? Did you read the note about delivering the parcel before 10am? Be sure that the side gate is already open and you have seen that the dog is stopping you from accessing the door before you go back to give it the food at the other gate.

Rushes: I have looked at the address at the police station and the delivery time. Otherwise, I don't think I would have been able to go to the address. The side gate is open and have seen the dog. I guess I'll keep trying. Maybe I'm trying to put the food in the wrong place by the gate?

Be sure that you're in close-up view with the dog in order to give it the food. Otherwise I can't think what you might have missed doing. think
