I liked it but will not buy it because they spoiled the game by interrupting the scenes with constant narrative. I would just get warm on the hunt for items and they would interrupt and sometimes not even return to where I was. Very disturbing but I do like this way of find objects... by category. A shame they spoiled it. Time for narrative is between scenes not in the middle of it.
Prices are going up everywhere except in our incomes.

Hi, Becky! I don't remember where I downloaded the demo from, but I enjoyed it enough that I'm just gonna purchase it from "BigFish". Hearing Chris Jones' voice and seeing his face again is well worth the price of admission ! Of course, I'm still holding out hope that we'll eventually see another Tex Murphy game. Susan

I really like this game. I'm enjoying the story. I think it's good. I liked the first one also.

Maybe I'll switch modes then. The HO part seemed to go buy too quickly, I didn't seem to need to find to many things before the next video played, so it seemed like short playing time between videos.

I really enjoyed this game. In fact, it actually made the first game make more sense for me ( if that makes any sense ) The dialogue made the game for me - a great story, lots of twists and turns. I found the HO part rather easy and while I wish there had been more of it, I also found myself getting a bit annoyed at having to go search for things when I wanted to find out what was next in the story! I also noticed that while Jess' lisp in the first game almost drove me crazy, that it was hardly noticeable at all in this game. That made following the story much easier. I think it's a 'Love It!' / 'Hate It!' type of game, but I am definitely one who loved it. I hope there is another game to follow - to see where Jess' gift takes her next.

I loved it, as I did the first one. Played through twice, also, to see the difference. If you really don't want to listen to the dialogue, you can hit the space bar to skip. However, the storyline is interesting, I think. Can't wait for the next installment. Joan

Thanks FLO NS for the info on the differences in the play modes. I too had played the demo on another site and remembered having to find all the objects before you could move on. Relaxed mode and only having to find some of the items did make it seem like all cut scenes and no game play. Will buy now.

Part of me wasn't thrilled with the game - all the talking during my demo time. But the rest of me felt compelled to keep playing So I did purchase this as my 6th game for the month! I think it does a great job of continuing the story started in 3 Cards to Midnight. It has just the right amount of difficulty in figuring out what objects I am supposed to click on. JMHO Linda
So many games, so little time.
