Laurette, you don't actually give the food to the dog. You place it off to the right side. There should be a hot spot over there. That way, the dog will have to walk over to get it, which buys you a bit more time.

If trigonometry evolved from geometry, why is there still geometry?

Thanks ronrob and everyone. Managed to get past that part. Am now on the console part charting the course. Just don't (duh) get this one. The w/t I am referring to seems to state "next-to-last arrow" over and over. Could I get a save game for this? Thank you very much for any help.

Laurette, at each step you see a train of arrows starting at a certain place and moving off in one direction or another. By "next-to-the-last arrow," I meant follow the train of arrows until you reach the next-to-the-last arrow in the train. That's where the change is made, as indicated in the walkthru.

This is just in case you want to try it yourself. It's not that hard once you can decipher my obtuse rhetoric. You can always fall back on the save from Rushes, though.

Rushes: Thanks for the save.
ronrob: Thank you for taking the time to explain your w/t more fully. I will try; it always feels better doing something yourself.

Laurette, you might also want to take a look at MaG's walkthru. Her explanation might seem clearer, and there is a picture of the solution.

Aren't we practically neighbors?

Thanks, ronrob. I haven't seen a w/t by MaG. Yes, Canton isn't too far from where I live.

Thanks, MaG. I looked at the alphabetical list, but not at the very top.

Am near end of the game. Am supposed to light torch from inventory with another torch near the landing zone. Sorry, I found, doing a close-up by the stone, that I got the torch lit. Thanks.
