I pulled the lever and when I go to open the compartment on the floor, I die. I looks like I have to do something in the corner, but I tried all my tools and nothing happens. I picked up a stone that was there but it disappeared, I don't see it in my inventory. What am I doing wrong? Thanks,Blue

Hi Blue, I removed the e-mail address from your post for security reasons, and also merged your two threads for this game. It helps us if you can stay with one thread per game so that we can follow your play. After pulling the lever and seeing the panel with the message "Don't Look Back" - whatever you do, don't turn back around to face the well, as that's what's causing you to die. Examine the panel on the floor closely, you'll see a handle (at the top of the panel, from memory). Click on that to open it and reveal the puzzle.

Hi Hermes, the save's on the way. Blue, the trick is to make the inverted pentagram as large as possible, and to draw it in one single, smooth line, without any hesitation or breaks. Here's how it should look:

Glad that you finished and enjoyed the game, Blue. Yes, lighting all the torches is quite often done and has tripped a lot of folk up.
