Where the sun shines
making me green with envy because everyone else got thru it. I'm reeking with frustration.

I am so totally stuck on dish # 10 for the king. It reads: Big Bowl-(first layer)- 1 carrot, 1 onion, 1 herring, 1 spoon of sauce; (second layer) beet, 1 herring, 1 spoon of sauce. No stirring.

I did however, whisk the sauce in small bowl, before adding the spoonful to the big bowl, otherwise it wouldn't be sauce.

My problem is that when I add the spoon of sauce to the first layer the red line in the indicator drops down. I have used the spoon on the right.. nope, didn't work. Tried the spoon on the left... nada. Left out the beet, left out the first sauce, put the beet in the first layer instead of the second, no, no, no.

Been working on this for a couple hours and get stuck at this exact point. The indicator rises for all the ingredients except when the first spoon of sauce is added. When I leave out the first spoon of sauce and go to add the beet next, the indicator drops.eek

Thanks for any help or advice you can give.

Hi fizzypop,

It sounds as though your sauce recipe is incorrect. Double check the ingredients that you used to make the sauce - make a new batch if you can.

Sauce:
1 raw egg
1 spoon mustard `
1 portion oil
1 portion vinegar
Mix on small bowl at left and use whisk to combine.

You are absolutely right, Rushes! Ohh I feel so dumb. I'm going to blame all these simple mistakes on the stroke I had in '07. These games used to be so much fun and now my memory and cognitive skills are so bad that the easiest things get by me. I didn't breeze thru games but for the most part I only needed a push or two. Not so now!! I get so mad at myself. Grrr

Thank you so much Rushes. You've made it possible to get back to Green Moon and start enjoying this excellent game again. I love these puzzles in the game. Thanks again. happydance

PS: Oh yeah... I had written the ingredients down on a piece of paper so I wouldn't constantly be checking the cookbook. Big mistake there. Just didn't think of rechecking ingredients against the book. sigh
