I just recently got the game and started playing. For the life of me (or should I say Lara) I can not KILL that darned T-Rex. I must have tried at least 50 times now. Mostly I have been using the pistols and I finally figured out that part of my problem is I keep backing myself into a corner. But even when I try to stay in the open but keep backing away I end up dead. Is there any way around this? I don't think I will ever be able to kill him. It is very frustrating, not to mention the hands and fingers cramping up after awhile.
Please can anyone help?

The idea is to enrage the T-Rex and successfully use the adrenaline dodge.

Gamegirl you can get a saved game from Stella's TR website to get past that part. I could not master that adrenaline dodge manuver. Much easier to use the saved game. Good Luck!

Adam, thanks for the link to the videos. I forgot all about them. However, I gave it a try (more like 12 tries) and I still can not get the hang of it.
I forgot to mention that I'm playing the PC version and using the keyboard and mouse.

Gerry, I think I am going to have to get that saved game. After watching the video and giving it about a dozen tries, I still cannot get the hang of getting Rex to run into the spikes.

While the shooting depletes T-Rex's life slowly the more damage can be done by the shoot dodge thing [kinda like bullet time] I don't remember very much but somehow you have to lure him to the spiked parts of the surrounding wall. If you do this 2 or 3 times, the T-Rex would be dead. Good luck

You're welcome, Geri. I think you have to click/shoot at the exact time when the icon glows in the center. Or maybe I'm wrong, it's been a long time.

You can find a rock to stand on(T Rex won't attack) and keep blasting away with pistols. Also running toward the spikes helps weaken him when he runs into them.
