Cannot get into crypt. Nicholas says he has to do something first. What did I miss. Help.

Did you speak to the Abbott at the monastery about entering the crypt?

yes several times. I say to him there is something I must do first.

Have you finished with the doctor?
The doctor is the main clue to the mine.
Then talk to the abbot and he will mention the 2 brothers that are missing.
