I have completed and healed gloria in room 1E she said she was going to give me the lock picks and the artifact ring (w I went ahead and used the picks, so thats ok, but when I checked the inventory there was no second artifact ring. I went back and tried to do the puzzle again but cannot get in. Have I missed something or is the inventory full? Really enjoying this game!

I have just spent one long day and evening trying to open the safe to get the telescope lens. I have the random number and the slider positions but (a) dont know where I am suposed to put the random number (b) the slider works ok but nothing happens. I read the wlkthru and it says use the safe code before entering the slider code. I thought at first the random # was to be put in before the slider #, but that didnt work. I obviously am reading but not getting the instructions. Is there 2 safes?Would appreciate some help. Thanks

There's only one safe - near the Reception desk. You have the number from Andrew, and also the piece of paper with the diagram of the number positions. The diagram is a visual aid only.

Whatever number you have from Andrew - click/move the mechanism on the safe to the first digit (in the position as you see it displayed on the diagram), then click/move to the second digit, etc. When all digits are entered in this way, the safe will open.
