Hi kdj, OK, for this one, you have to press the Blue Button, then RUN (you have to make sure you are running, not walking) down the stairs, across the floor and up the other stairs to the Yellow button. Press it, then RUN down the stairs to the floor again. The RED button is on a pedestal in the middle of the big round floor (it's a symbol that is kind-of red). Click it and the floor rises. Then after riding the floor up, you can walk to the stairs, go down to the newly opened floor and continue your quest. Hope that helps. Have fun, Dadguy

Thank you so much! How do you run? And if you have already pressed the blue and yellow buttons I am hoping I can go back and do it over again? then the red button. kdj

Yes, I can't remember the exact terminology for the choices, but I always chose the "total control" option rather than the one that lets you click in a general direction and it would take you forward several steps.
Cheers,

No saves. If the symbol is on the slate (small, at the lower left or right), all you need to do is click it once, and it will draw itself. Then drop the slate and back away... (you must get far enough away that the Bahro feels comfortable to pick it up). When he does, he'll raise his arms and scream, and you'll see a flash and the heat will start and the valves will be popped up. Dadguy

kdj, if you try to do just the four symbols reflected in the bowls, how can you be sure that you have the right ones from the inside. The way I did it was to draw a circle and then mark fifteen window positions around it. I then went to a window and drew it's symbol on the outside of the circle by one of the window positions that I had marked. I then looked in the window and wrote the symbols from the inside wall inside the circle next to the window marks that I felt they should go. Then I went to the next window to the left and did it again, and so on.
As I was doing this, I soon realized that the inside symbols were representing numbers. When I finished, the symbol for one lined up with the window facing the ladder that you climb to get to the top of the plateau. I took this to mean that all the symbols (inside ones and window ones) were lined up.
After that, it was a simple matter of matching the reflected symbols to their associated symbol and realizing that the layout of the bowls on the table showed which bowl went with which stone mound.
Hope this helps. Dave
P.S. The first time I did this puzzle, I did it by brute force; Go up the ladder and to the first pillar on the right. Turn the top one position. Go down and into the tunnel to see if the way was open. Repeat until it was and then do it again with the next pillar. Doing it this way I found that each rotating plug gave access to two passageways, one dead end and the other leading to the next plug (or the entrance to the lab after the last one).
