I am at the last puzzle Silo & I cannot follow the walkthrough by Bob Washburne.
I am trying to do the rising columns & after 4 days & dreaming all night about it I am ready to .Can somebody give me a simple way to do it pleeeeeese.

The developer of the game is a member here and has mentioned in several other hints threads that he is happy to be contacted directly to answer any questions on gameplay. So you might try that also. His member name is Slip Space.

I received an email from Dan & he steered me in the right direction so after another few hours I finally worked it out & finished the game.
