Hi pamvan, Another member experienced exactly the same problem very recently - see THIS thread. A saved game allowed him to complete the game, albeit with a glitchy area further on. He also posted in Glitches forum but no fix was found for the Baghdad chapter. Let's wait and see if anyone has kept their saves and has one just after this point in the game for you.

I haven't tried it on my XP machine yet,but I have the original disc version and I saw all of the sequences on my ME computer with no problems.
EDIT... Never mind I have the cd version not the DVD one.

pam, Best to post at Glitches. They might find the reason you cannot save or get back to your saved game. Also see if the saved game files are inside the BA2 folder. Or do a search for them.

I open the game, I have to start from the beginning. I wonder if this is a Windows 7 thing. You might want to run the game elevated (as administrator) or change the location of the install. By default my game loads to Program Files, which is protected in Vista and above. The recommended location under Vista and above is: C:\Users\ your user name To run in elevated mode, right click the desktop (or start menu) icon and select Run as Administrator, this allows the game to update the Program Files folder. When I played it last (under XP) several cut scenes were missing. Setting the compatibility mode to Windows 95 corrected it. I don't own the DVD version, but you may want to play with the settings and see what happens. You can change them by right clicking the executable (or shortcut) and selecting Properties - press the Compatibility Tab, check the box and select an OS.
