Now I am at Gatineau, France, and I was at the "snack-mobile" and found the foil right away but no cup.

Now I must find the cup but I still cannot find it cry

Can you point it out somehow please? I have scoured the ground but no hotspots duh

Check THIS YouTube excerpt - you can see Nina pick up the cup at around 6.5 minutes into the video. luck

AARGH! There was no cup in my scene!

I don't know what to do now cry The aluminum was there instead of the cup.

I guess I could replay it from the previous save but double AARGH - that was back in the temple.

Triple AARGH - it was back on the ship! I just don't want to replay that much of the game for a cup frown

Anyone have a saved game for after the cup please?

My saves are not labeled. I sent you ALL my saves. You can check and see if you find one that you can use.

As for the paper cup. Check the ground where the snack stand is or where it was. It might be there or it could be in your inventory.

Hey MaG! Thanks!

I finally figured out what the problem had to be and went into the game folder and clicked on Config Tool and un-clicked full screen. (Both full & wide-screen are ticked.)
I have a new wide-screen monitor and it self-adjusts. As soon I only left wide-screen but not the full, there was the cup!

I bet this is why I couldn't find the garden before.

I went back to having both checked but at least now I know. slapforehead

Bless you!
Linda

Glad you found what the problem was, Linda! Hope you don't run into the same trouble again. Might be a good idea to play the game on wide-screen only, just in case? smile

wide screen only made half the monitor - so not really an option cause it was only the left half rotfl

the setting was preset with the game. but now that I know, I can go back and forth when necessary!

I tried that because I have a wide screen monitor and can't get Max to see the monitor on the wall of the cell that Nina is in. It didn't work. She just says what it is, not what the entry code is. (I'm in the part of the game where Nina's in prison and Max is trying to get her out.)
What to do?

I played and wrote the walkthrough using a wide screen monitor and did not have a problem.

Did you do this part?
Cell door code: Check the bench in between the doors. See something written on it. Use the camera to record it.

Enter the right door and show Nina the picture. It's too dark.

Combine the picture with GamerGirl. It illuminates the picture. Nina reads Snow White, Soccer and Devil.

Look close at the number pad left of door. Enter the number code: Snow White (7), Soccer (11 from magazine) and Devil (666). Select 711666.
