Congratulations Andrea! Yes, Draka has been updated. I know there is a tab in the chat window for the Real ID...if someone will let me know when they are on tonight, we can try it out.

Hi Karen! Sunfury Spire is in the Court of the Sun(in Silvermoon). There is a long ramp that you take up. Once inside you will see two more ramps take either one. Just keep going up to reach the orb to UC. Linda

Thanks Lindy Karen, I wouldn't worry about the friends names....delete them, but if they start showing up again I would report it. Just remember, Blizzard will Never ask you for your info via the game....whisper or mail. I sometimes get mail that says if I don't go to this site and put my info in, my account will be permanently banned. Report those as they are just phishing for your info to steal your account. It's great to see you back!

I had a good time playing with you all tonight! It was fun chatting and getting to know a little bit about everyone. My only problem is it's my only toon on that server and I'm so poor, lol, that I have to level my skills right away. Hopefully I can get on tomorrow night for a bit. My priest on Sisters of Elune just joined a new guild so I may have to socialize tomorrow.

Hi Boomies! I had such fun last night, chatting with all of you! Karen and I have done the Real ID thing and it works great! Just do it with those you know and trust! You can chat accross factions AND servers! So no matter what toon you're playing with, or which server you're on, you can keep in touch. I'm not pushing this, you need to feel safe and secure, but it seems to work really well. See you in game! Andrea

Let's see. On Sisters of Elune I have a holy/shadow 80 priest, 80 mage, 80 warlock (useless dps), 80 restro/feral druid, and 78 shammy (elemental). In the background and hardly ever played is a 63 rogue, 53 boomkin and 48 gnome warlock with pink hair, lol. Oh and a 43 blood elf priest.
Ok Draka I have my baby priest. I haven't tried paladin or warrior yet. Had a dk for 2 levels and couldn't get used to it. Had a hunter up to level 20 once but couldn't really get used to her either.
Are any of you going to make worgens when Cataclysm comes out? I can't decide.

Boy Linda, I can relate. Having to buy mats from the bank just about left me pennyless. I'm doing Leatherworking, and I got it up to lvl 250 today, but gosh it was hard, what with farming and buying mats. Why do some of the recipes use so much mats?? And then what do you do with what you made? I've been selling it in the AH and it usually sells pretty wall, but not enough to pay me back for the original cost. It's still fun though, and I'm not discouraged. Judt not the most fun thing to do. LOL. Andrea

What is farming? And if I want to do Tailoring, what's the best approach?

Jean, sounds like you have had a lot of fun trying out different toons. I don't know if I'll make a Worgen...kinda depends on exactly when Cata drops. Andrea, I can relate...but your leatherworking is much ahead of mine. Most items when you are leveling don't sell enough for you to recoup your costs, but the end items sometimes do. But not always. If I have to buy mats to do potions/elixirs/flasks, I can't sell them for a profit. Thus, the farming. Misslilo, farming is when you are out gathering materials for your craft...collecting herbs or skinning or mining, etc. If you do tailoring, you'll be getting material from drops so running through instances can be a good way. Also, friends can help by sending you material they get by drops but can't use. For instance, Soot tailors so I give him all my frostweave and on Burning Blade, I give it all to my son. I think the professions are easiest and most beneficial to level as you level your toon.

Hi L4L! Last night I got a random dungeon on my main, Lalais (Hunter Lvl 69). It was for Utgarde. Never been there before and the group had a bad healer. We almost finished the dungeon but got wiped at the last boss twice and then we were disbanded. I felt so clueless and unprepared for that place. The people who keep track of the dps of the group annoy me and make me feel inadequate. I would love to go back there sometime with you, Soot, Linda and one other player or just us. I actually did most of the sunken temple all by myself yesterday to get mats. there's lots of thick leather there. Just didn't go upstairs, or do the major bosses. I really enjoy WoW. Have a good day all! Andrea

Awww Andrea, that is too bad.
Yes, it is very confusing when you do a dungeon for the first (or even 2nd or 3rd time).
There are videos that can help, but it is by far the easiest though when you run the dungeon with someone who has and is willing to explain.
Sometimes if you just ask something like "This is my first time here. What do I need to know?" the other guys will give you quick highlights.
Hubby and I will be happy to help you run through the dungeons...but hubby can't tank those yet.

Sure wish my toons were leveled so I could run those instances with you all, but it's going to be quite a while before I get there. Utgarde can be hard the first few times you run it. There's a method to the madness there. With the first boss, the one in the big room that puts freezes on everyone, everybody should stack on the tank. That way if you get frozen the tank or other dps can unfreeze you. If you're a healer in there that's really important. Also, if your healer is a priest she can fade when the skellies come out, cause they make a beeline for her. In the room with all the dragons to the left, right and straight ahead, the tank has to be careful to face the dragons away from everyone. The ones on the sides aren't too bad, but the ones straight ahead can be painful. On the two bosses together (can never remember there names, ah one is Dalran), they more or less have to be taken down at the same time or the one will turn into a ghost and keep attacking. Again, if you can stack closer in because you can get hit otherwise. I know more about the instances from a healer's point of view, than dps. When I play my dps toons, I have a macro that I made to target the tank's target so that I don't pull aggro. Always wait at least 3 seconds, maybe more depending on the tank, before hitting something so tank gets aggro first. Hehe on the Wow forums there used to be a saying, "If the tank dies, it's the healer's fault. If the healer dies, it's the tank's fault. If anyone else dies it's their own darn fault".

Hi Lindy:
Just go into macros (esc to menu options and then click on macros). Click on "new" and give the macro a name and icon. Then in "enter Macro commands" box type /assist. Then exit out of macro command box. Don't click new again or you'll just create another one, lol.
Next time you're in an instance, go to that macro and after /assist do one space and type in tank's name. Then exit again. You have to exit or it won't take. I use the icon that corresponds to the macro in my = key in first bar so it's easy to get to, but you can put it wherever you like.
You'll click on that when tank fights and it will pick up his target. When he goes to a new target you'll have to click on it again.
There are probably other ways to do it or write it, but I don't know beans about macros, lol. Maybe someone else can tell us an easier way, that will follow the tank around and you don't have to keep clicking on it.

You know if you just select the tank, then type /focus, the tank will be your focus. Then there is a setting in your interface which lets you see your focus's target. Then you just click on that to target it. It's an extra click, but I never have time to open a macro and type the tank's name. People take off the second we pop in. Zoom zoom zoom.
