That's correct, and it's on sale for 12 dollars too!

After reading the reviews on Amazon.com I decided to pass on this game. I would really like to play it but to much dialog gets on my nerves and it says it has tons of dialog. I have trouble concentrating when I read and can't remember what I read right after I have read it. crazy

I am enjoying the game.
The dialog isn't more
than many others I've played,
and the game's a hoot!
At least give a trial a go.

Really enjoying this game. Did you know that if you click the compass on stuff he makes a comment about the item and the people of the north. I love being able to click items on other items and people to get funny comments.

With the name Sadwick how could anyone not expect him to be sad?

JohnBoy, it's all spoken dialogue, with choices for what you want Sadwick to ask next.

This game tells a different story from most adventure games, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it completely for my review.

I've noticed that sometimes subtitles don't match the spoken dialogue and not just in minor points, sometimes they're totally different.

BTW I saw the game at my local Best Buy.

We have The Whispered World at our Best Buy, too. I still ordered it from Interact, though. I just like the UK cover better. lol

Of course, the US cover is bigger, and it has some beautiful screenshots from the game on the inside flap. So I suppose it's something of a trade off. smile

I loved this game, I am not usually a fan of
cartoon type, but this game and the characters
were Great,
I fell in love with his caterpillar smile
this was a fun game, lots of dialog but still
worth the trip...
just my 2 cents smile

I tried playing the demo..twice. Although I'm usually not bothered a whole lot by tons of dialogue, I just couldn't get into it; I got tired of hearing descriptions of everything I clicked on. It's too bad, because it looked like it could be interesting.

The answer is....chocolate! Who cares what the question is.....

I liked the little blue clown. Loved the caterpillar. The game has a wistful air about it that grew on me. The dialogs made me laugh. An unusual game that (I suspect) people will still want to play years from now.

Thanks for all the input. I have been wanting to play this game. The graphics look great to me.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Didn't like the demo too much, however the ending of the demo sparked some interest in me, so I decided to give WW a try after all. And I'm glad I did. This must be my favorite adventure in years (along with also fantastic Machinarioum).
Great characters, very interesting and well written dialogs (and there's not that many of them. The usual, I'd say), fun puzzles, beautiful graphics.. and to top it all, beautiful ending that pushed the story and the whole experinece on a completely new level. It will haunt you long after you'll finish the game.
Classic already.
