Today I decided to purchase Echoes of the Past Castle of Shadows C.E. and saw that credits can no longer be used

You could never use credits for the Collectors Editions. Credits only work for a 6.99 game.

Linda, are you confusing using credits with getting punches on the punch card perhaps? I think you get 3 punches for a CE game.

For a while they let you use 3 credits to purchase a collector's edition. I didn't do it because it cost $1 more that way. $7 x 3 = $21, I am so terribly cheap

I only found out because a friend of mine who has purchased other C.E. games tried to buy the above game and couldn't use her credits. So when I purchased it too, I saw the same message this game.

When I purchased MCF Dire Grove C.E. I could have used 3 credits so I just wondered what happened.

Not a biggie - I was just curious. When I tried to find the answer thru BFG Help, it said their offices were closed today.

They have never accepted 3 credits Linda. It was a feature they were trying to program but they have not yet done so.

Ah. My mistake.

Last I heard, BFG-Guy said they were working on being able to implement this (three game credits to use on a CE), but these things take time.
