I was able to install it and everything but when I db-click the games icon, it'll open the games start-menu if that's what it's called anyway, but will-not load/start the game on my laptop!!!! Thanks in advance for the reply! Happy-gaming all!!

I played it on my laptop with a Geforce Go 7600 GT - I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't play on your ATI.

Me too although mine's only 32bit. 64bit could be the problem.

I have it on my toshiba laptop, it has the intel 945 express chip set, which only has 256mb vid memory and a core speed of 200mhz...which I boost to 400mhz with GMABooster.

Obi, you might try playing in XP SP2 compatibility mode and see what happens. Right click the icon and select Troubleshoot Compatibility and follow the promtpts.

If you still can't get it to work, try running it in compatibility mode for Windows XP or 2000. Sometimes that helps on particular computers, though it isn't necessary for all computers.

Another possibility: Your computer meets the requirements, but there could be a problem with the game's copy "protection" if the game disc is marginal. I had that problem with a desktop. Tunguska wouldn't start on my main game computer because it couldn't pass the disc check, but it worked on the computer I used for school (even with its unimpressive graphic card) because that computer had a CD/DVD drive that was better than average at reading CD's and DVD's. So you might check Google and see if there's a NoCD for your version of the game. Laptops aren't known for having great CD/DVD drives and I know from personal experience that some Tunguska game discs were marginal. It's harder for a CD/DVD drive to pass copy "protection" checks than it is to read normal data from the disc and install the game.

Another option is if you have an external USB CD/DVD drive, it might be a better reader than your laptop CD/DVD drive and you might try installing and playing from that.
