Guess I am getting blind but, I am supposed to find candles. I have mailed letter and am told by Jerry to search for candles because I have no light yet.
Been searching forever help please?

I played this game once before and want to play it again because I remember it was very good.

misskedi

TIA

misskedi, have you tried calling back Jerry to tell him there are no candles to be found? If it isn't possible to call him yet, make sure you have searched a few specific locations. From the top of my head these include the drawers in the kitchen and the dining room, and the trunk in the attic.

I'll be back, one day, when I feel like it.

I have done that 3 or 4 times and called Jerry back several times.

Reading another WT I finally got to see the safe, went to attic, trunk etc. Seems I should find a certain newspaper, which I don't find ( date? } yet.

I will try again, and see if I can solve this.

Will print out that section of WT and follow it and see where I goofed .

later,
misskedi

I'm still playing this game and I am close to end, on Monday, 2 PM . I am in the manor chapel having putting nail in Jesus foot. I have looked at the INRI sign and see that is now tilted. But i've tried to use the crowbar on it to make it tip down, but cannot get it to work.
After about 25 times trying , I wonder what I an doing wrong, just can't find the right spot, I guess.
Is there a special trick to this? I played the game a long time ago, so know it works, but...... !!.

Would anyone still have a saved game after getting down to the secret passage?

TIA
missekdi

This is what Zurreen stated:

Now look up and at the INRI sign to the left of and behind Christ's head. Use your crowbar to straighten the sign, and a cut-scene will show the statue lowering and indicate that the hero is stepping back off the platform.

I have been doing this forever, clicking left and above and on his head, wherever I am allowed to, but, guess I just can't find the right spot. I know it is there somewhere, I can see the letters IN and try clicking there and all around there. or else it isn't there.

I will try a few more hours and see if I can do it before I give up.

Did you use the crowbar on the metal ring on the floor yet?

Yes, used that, then put the nail in his foot. I have seen INRI sign and now am told is has been tilted, Now am trying to use crowbar to straighten it, but statue does not fall . Following the WT all along.

Don't know what else to do.

Take a look at the pictures here. See if that helps.

My saved games are unlabeled but you are welcome to try them - I have 3 folders. Also there are saved games here.
