I just finished Alter Ego and enjoyed it throughly. I will surely keep and replay the game in time to come. If I reveiwed games, looks like I would be alone with this one. But then, it is nice that we are all not the same, keeps life interesting. It would be interesting to see if any other Gameboomers feel as I do about Alter Ego.

I should get it from Amazon tomorrow and I'll be loading it up! I'll let you all know how it goes for me.

I'm still waiting for the game to show up at Best Buy, so I can use my discount. If I get too impatient, I may just have to go ahead and order it online.

I got it yesterday but am going to finish Dracula Origin before starting so I can concentrate on it. My poor brain can't cope with two adventure games at a time!

Gerry, unfortunately, I don't. I'm not even sure if Best Buy is going to get Alter Ego at all, as I haven't even seen it on their website yet. I've been looking pretty much every day, though. Usually, Best Buy gets adventure games later than the online stores. And I always end up spending more than I would have otherwise since I've been impatient or I didn't know that they were going to get it in the first place because of the game's late arrival. However, it seems they are very late this time. Though watch, once I order it online, they will start carrying it the next day. I will definitely let you know if I hear any news, though.

Well I finished it, and I did enjoy it, although it had kind of an unexpected ending that I didn't really care for. There are a lot of dialogue scenes to the game, and it actually almost seems more like a movie. The puzzles are not all that difficult to solve, so if you're looking for brain teasers this isn't the game for you. But it does have interesting characters and a good story. It is a rather short game, but it may have seemed that way to me since I didn't have to use a walkthrough step by step. I had no problems with the graphics at all. My video card is a Nvidia GEforce 9600 GT, so that may be why I had less trouble than others. Sooo, that's my take on it! I think the ending leaves room for a sequel, and I'd be interested to see how it all works out, if there is one.

Yes, playing as different characters is fun. I really enjoyed Jazz and Faust, one of my favorite adventure games.
