Big Fish is a download portal. They do send back up disks to you for an extra charge, but they are not retail boxed copies, they are just a backup for you so youb do not have to download. They are in Seattle, WA headquarters but our Canadian purchasers will have to try and help on the other questions because I am in the states do not know. Ana

Hi, teresa!
I've been downloading games from Big Fish for almost a year now and would highly recommend them as a source of both adventure and casual games (I don't play any of the other genres, but those are available as well). Their customer service is second to none and their prices can't be beat.
The games you purchase are in American dollars but, since the US exchange rate is quite low at the moment, $6.99 games (for Club Members) run around $7.50, give or take a few cents.
Once you download a game, it's yours to keep and you can replay them as many times as you choose. The download process is very easy and anyone here can help you if you get stuck. I always try the demos first to weed out the duds. If you decide you'd like to purchase the full version, simply click on "Buy It". If you're a Club Member, your credit card will be charged $6.99 (plus US exchange) and if you're not a Club Member, your credit card will be chared $9.99 (plus US exchange). Your Club Membership is $6.99 per month, but for that you get one free game plus discounts on all of the other games you download. Becoming a Club Member is easy and instructions can be found on the Big Fish website. As a bonus, for every 6 games you purchase during any one month, you receive a credit for a free game the next month.
If you reformat your hard drive for any reason or buy a new computer, you can find your purchase history on the Big Fish website so you can download any games you want to play again.
I hope this helps but, if you have any more questions or concerns, just holler!
Susan

Hi, teresa!
Download times all depend on how fast your internet connection is. I have a DSL modem and can download most games in 10 minutes or less. If you're still on dial-up, it can take hours.
If you experience a power outage during the download process, you can try again when your power resumes.
If you find a game you think you might like, I'd suggest you play the demo first because I've spotted a few games I thought would be good, but passed after playing the demo.
Have fun!
Susan
