Just had a mail from Amazon UK to say that it won't be delivered until 3.11. I'm sure Michelangelo was faster painting the Sistine Chapel than Jane and her team have been on this game...it had better be a work of art when it finally arrives!

Noooooo, I was really looking forward to playing it this year. Really getting tired of all the delays.

So many delays is not a great sign as to the quality of a game. I'm cancelling my order until reviews start coming in.

Myopia -- does 3.11 mean November 3rd? If so, since the game currently is scheduled to release on October 29th, that might be the time it'll take to ship it to you.

Amazon UK quotes 25th Feb 2011 as release date.

Hi Becky, sorry it's 11th March, as mjc2 says and boomerang, that's the date it'll arrive from Amazon UK....but I'm very cynical now. I could die of old age before being able to play it (sigh).

The delay probably has to do with the (late) decision to bring Gray Matter also to Xbox. Not that strange I think.

But if the PC version is "ready to go" why couldn't it be released - with a later release for the XBox

How can they get so close to release date then all of a sudden realise they need another five or six months. Something must have gone wrong big style.

I was supposed to be getting two new games for my birthday in a week or so, one was Civilization 5 which I had to cancel when I tried the demo and found my compy wasnt quite up to it and Gray Matter was the other one. It's gonna be a sad birthday;-)

Before we speculate a change in date based on Amazon changing their date, we should probably wait for a press release or update from Carla since she has contact with the developer.

I received the same email today from Amazon UK because I pre-ordered the game, I immediately emailed the publisher and as soon as I will get an answer (probably monday) I will let you know.
No official words have been released about the delay yet, and Mamba site still says 29th October 2010 (and so does Amazon Germany)
That's all I can say for the moment unfortunately...

mambo games still have october 29th on their web site.

Another thought on that delivery date. Since the publisher, Mambo, is selling preorders perhaps they have come close to selling out the first "printing" and are holding delivery to retailers for the second "printing" As of today they are still saying ship date is 10/29

I can't imagine it would take 5 months to reprint more copies. Amazon seem to be the only ones with the changed date.

Maybe the delay is only for the UK ??

If that really is the case, I wish I knew how to speak German. All of these delays are insane. I am generally understanding about them, since I know pretty much all adventure games are delayed at some point. Quite often, they may need extra work and polish. But it just seems as though with this game information is withheld, and the game keeps getting pushed back with no explanation. Very frustrating.
