The nonograms were just fine,
I like to play titles like World Mosaics
and am on #3 of those.
Soduku #1 was done but went no further.
I cheated on the Renogram, though. {thnx Mag!}

The Bento Boxes are murdering me! hardwall
and I stink at using saves... duh
I may have to blow-up Mag's diagrams.[/s]

Well, did my usual,
got mad enuf @ the game to slam @ it til I succeded.

Can't say the same about the Master Soduku, though. scared
MaG to the rescue...thnx 4 ur gr8 W/T's!

Hi Rushes

would you please send me a save for the first bento box - I hope I don't have to do a second

this game is entirely too hard for me, and I'm beginning to regret buying it

I'll probably also need instruction about how to use the save

thanks so much - you're a lifesaver

Janice

I somehow suffered through the Nonogram, Sudoku and Renograms, then came all those wires but the Bento boxes I just do not get at all. I am trying to understand it. I hit the ? and read the "Preparing Bento the Yumi Way! - but this just did not clear things up. Can anyone help explain why so many figures and why the other boxes to the side - how do they figure in. It must be better to be 10 and playing this.

Tara,
I am out of state right now and do not have my saved game with me. Can you wait til tomorrow when someone can help you here.

Birddog,
I placed an example here below and let's go over that puzzle, ok.

The black white pictures on the right (green background) is the order given by the customer. Each box is an order.

The pictures on the left of the screen (not shown here) are the ingredient of the order: rice, egg or sandwich. Each of those ingredients can be in the shape of bear, rabbit or cat.

At the center is the empty bento box that you need to fill in with order given on the right.
Note that this is a 3x3 box.

Now = let's go back to the order on the right.
Hints:
--The easiest to fill in is the clue or order that is already in a 3x3 box like the one at top right. You already know where to place an order in the bento box at the center.
-- Do the animal and ingredient first.
A. Like top left of the 3x3 order. It is a rabbit and sandwich.
So take the rabbit/sandwich from the left and place it at the empty top left bento box at center.
B. The one at top right is a cat and egg.
So take the cat-egg from left and place at top right of the bento box at center.
C. At center is cat-sandwich. Place that then at center of bento box.
D. AT bottom center is a cat ingredient
E. At bottom right is a rabbit ingredient.
The last 2 has to be deduced after you enter the other ingredients-animals in place.

Now there is a column in that bento box that should be arranged like the one at top left of the clues-order at right.
From top to bottom you have to have a column in the bento box that has:
- rabbit ingredient
-rabbit-rice
- bear ingredient.

There is also another clue-order arrangement at bottom that has to be in the 3x3 box ---
- rice of an animal should be left of a cat and an egg of an animal under a cat.

So it is deduction by placing in the 3x3 box what is clear order first to slowly deduce what is left after the clear orders are in place.

Good luck. I love this kind of puzzles

Richard, Watch the lines and you will see if they overlap.
Take the crowded lines first and place them to one side first.
Then the least overlap and untangle those first.
The more you extend them to the perimeter give you more space at the center to work on.
Concentrate on one or 2 lines close together first and not get confused by the other bunched up ones.
Slowly work your bunched up then
