Well it seems to have wiped out everything I've done. I'm having to redo the things I had already done. I only have conversation options that I had days ago.
It's a boxed version. I never buy downloads. I like having the CDs.

Let me throw some things and you check if you have done these: - Open My Documents folder and then open The ND Shadows folder. - Take out the requested saved game files that you placed in that My Document-Nancy Drew folder Shadow folder earlier. - Download the saved game that was sent to you to desktop. - If it is zipped - unzip it. If not leave it untouched. - If you unzipped, take the file that is inside the unzipped folder. That file is the one you use. You will discard the folder(s) later. - Place that file that you either took out of a zipped folder or was sent unzipped in the My Document-Nancy Drew folder Shadow folder. - Close all folders now. - Play-load as usual. Scroll through the list in the load screen and look for the one sent (and you installed).

How much are you having to replay? Remember that you're now playing from another player's saved game (MaG's in this instance), and unless you've been following the walkthrough word-for-word in your own game, then your progress will likely be different in some ways and you may have to repeat certain conversations and/or puzzles. This is a non-linear game.

Since I couldn't figure out the portrait puzzle I did other stuff... the oragami, tea ceremony, both bento boxes, all number puzzles in the book and the one George sent, the bathroom mirror, the torn screen, Yumi's apartment. I had done all the avatar's as well. No, I didn't follow the walkthrough. I try to do everything without help unless, like the portrait puzzle, I just can't do it. But it's okay. Thanks for all the help. You all rock!!!!!

Can someone please send me a saved Bento puzzle. This puzzle is driving me crazy. I'm playing in junior mode.
Thank you in advance.
Thank you, Rushes. Got the save an got through that part.

daisy,
I sent you the first 2 bento puzzles. Check the walkthrough where you use them.
Please use the same thread you posted on and not jump to another thread. Thanks.

Hi stonzee, I merged your two threads. It helps if you can stay with one thread per game so that we can follow your gameplay.
There is a screenshot of the completed puzzle in MaG's walkthrough, did you take a peek? That might help you. But if the colours are all blurring together, you might prefer a saved game? Let us know.

No, there's no quick and easy way, other than by using one colour at a time until all shapes requiring that shade are filled, then moving on to the next colour, etc, rather than flitting from one colour to another and back again. That's the best tip I can offer you. The timing is tight on this one.

stonzee, Do one color at a time. Check the solved picture and look only for that color. Remember that there are 6 wedges. Each wedge are the same as the rest. So what you do to one of the wedge - do to the other 5. After the 3rd or 4th try, you already know where the colors go and you can zoom through.
