I followed your instructions it appears in my Documents but does not show on game saves

Did you place the file in the Lost Horizon folder in My Documents, along with all your other saves? If so -- after starting up the game and while in the Load screen, try scrolling back to the beginning of your saves, it's likely the first (oldest) one there.

No it's not in any of the saves

That's strange. Try removing that save file from the game folder, and then repeating the procedure. Are you playing from the disk version or download? I would have thought that saves would be compatible across all versions but you can never tell.

Same here -- so should be compatible. I don't know what else to suggest if the save isn't showing up for you.

I think I will have to delete the the game from my hard drive and the saves and start again.
I will load the save you give me to my external hard drive just in case

Success at last I deleted Lost Horizon from hard drive including all game saves.
I had transfered the old game files over to external hard drive.
I then loaded new game from my disk.
Played the first part saved.
Then put from external drive your file
and there it was. Ran it to the end at last.

Phew! Hope you enjoyed it.

I too am having the problem where the glass shard is not appearing behind Kim. I've reloaded from all of my saved games within the current and previous chapter and have tried all combinations of platforms to no effect.

Could you send that oh so appealing saved game my way please?

I should have said delete your game reload it.
Save one part then put the save game file in the new game saves.

When I buy a game,I always look to see if you have done a walkthrough on it.

I also print the walkthrough out and save it in a file cabinet.

But I hadn't seen one for Lost Horizon,

so I was worry that you wasn't doing one on this game .

I could use someone eles walkthrough,

which I had to do in the past.

But I have gotten use to your walkthroughs,

and I started collecting them to go with each game I buy .

Lately, I have been doing walkthroughs only when requested.
