Would really like to see some more games like the Agatha Christies and Murder She Wrote. I know some may have found them a bit too simple. But I liked the music and the atmosphere of these games.

I agree with you sparkle. flowers I am ready for a change of pace too. I am a bit tired of all the gloomy, creepy ones. :ghost2:

Hi, Sparkle!

I've been waiting for a new "Murder She Wrote" ever since I played the first one last year. I really enjoyed it because I was a faithful viewer of the series, and I didn't find it too easy.

Sparkle:

Have you tried playing the Woman's Murder Club games or Dr. Lynch: Grave Secrets?

I found these games to be very similar to the Agatha Christie games that you enjoy.

Classic Adventures: The Great Gatsby is by the same developers of the Agatha Christie games, and I loved the music and the atmosphere. I have played it twice.

caan-mn: I've played both of those. But thanks for the suggestion. Particularly enjoyed the "Women's Murder Club" games. But not quite what I was looking for. The Agatha Christies and "Murder She Wrote" were just a bit more light-hearted.

Marian: Thanks for the "Gatsby" recommendation. Played the demo and didn't really care for it. A bit too wordy, IMO.

Have you played the Nancy Drew Dossier series?

Oh gosh! The Nancy Drews drive me crazy. You know now that I think about it, "Letters from Nowhere" sort of fits the bill. Silly me. I've been playing this one for a couple of days off and on. Music is certainly familiar.

Thanks to all for your input. Still hoping there are some new Agatha Christies or "Murder She Wrote" in the future.

The Dossier series of Nancy Drew are the casual version. They were quite good.

Ana and cailyn: Didn't realize the "Nancy Drew Dossier" games were different. Downloaded demos this a.m. and will give them a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

Later: Although these games are a bit simplistic, I'm enjoying them. Thanks for the recommendation.
