I am in the sawmill and trying to spray the Luminol on the saw blade. The hand icon shows me that I have something to do here but when I try, I can't do it. I have been clicking on everything but a hand icon won't appear so I can't spray it. I have looked at the "help" feature but have already done everything it says to do. Am I missing something?

Gatsbygirl -- I'm sending this over to the casual game forum because this is a casual game.

Have you tried unlocking the blade before spraying?

Sorry that I posted in the wrong forum. Yes, I unlocked the blade. I can't click on anything else in the room.

I have not played this game but this walkthrough from Big Fish Games might help:

James Patterson's Women's Murder Club: Little Black Lies Walkthrough

Could it be that you are spraying the Luminol on the saw blade instead of in front of it?

I just wanted to ask - I tried one Women's Murder Club game which I enjoyed except for the HO screens where many of the objects were so tiny. Is this the same in all of the games because it has put me off trying any others. smile

I never found them to be tiny Chrissie, but you can check on screenshots of the walkthroughs to see what they look like.

Little Black Lies is the first WMC I've played, and the items weren't tiny. I thought the HO screens were very fair. Can't compare it to any previous ones, though.

Thanks Ana & Becky - I should think to look at the screeenshots or even better pay more attention to the demo! smile I was just having a look to see which one I had played but must have uninstalled it but will now give another one a go!

That was it. I kept trying and finally sprayed on the front ot the blade, as you suggested, and it eventually worked. I finished the game. Thanks for your help.
