I checked on Ubisoft support site and they say it needs a minimum of ATI Radion 9600/9800 now my computer is about 10 months old and I have ATI Radion 5450, would I be right in assuming that this is not going to be good enough? No, your 5450 is a newer card (it's actually an HD 5450. The 9x00 series supports Shader model 2.0 while yours supports SM5.0 - you can compare the cards below. ATI 9800 versus ATI HD 5450

I'm away from my desktop on which I have the game installed to investigate, and I know nothing about the protocol of Panda (I use MSE and the W7 firewall), but here is my best guess. Ubisoft has a "phone home" feature for the game. The game has to connect to a server for activation on the first run. I know I had to be online for it. It also connects to a server to check for updates and patches at every start. The game also has a connection to FaceBook for some marketing reason but I am unsure if this feature is automatic. I'm guessing Panda sees this communication as a intrusion or an attack as it is a program asking for permissions instead of the administrator. I'd see if you could add an exception into your antivirus and firewall to avoid this on a clean install.

Hi, lily.bart makes a good point regarding "It also connects to a server to check for updates and patches at every start" and there is one workaround to bypass this annoying problem: Go to your Game directory and rename the 2 following files after of course you get your first update: Activation.exe and gu.exe and then you will not get this "Checking for updates everytime you start the game" Personaly I have or had several games that did this and I did not get any other important updates after the first one. This of course is to each persons preferrence, but hopefully it might help with those who have problems with their security software. Ray
PS: I still haven't figured out how to get rid of that annoying screen at the to register with Facebook...
My apologies, I forgot to mention another very important part to renaming those 2 files, If you start the game and you get errors and the game will not start, Go to your CSI Game directory and Create a new Desktop Icon using the CSI6.exe file and everything should work A-OK, it is working for me and I have finished 3 Cases and zero problems so far.
