Yes, after several months' worth of a nice long rest -- and right on time for Thanksgiving -- Name the Game is returning (triumphally of course!) for another series of Game Name Guessing Goodness. This is the procedure:One person (hereinafter known as "It") posts a clue to an adventure game. The clue can be simple or difficult or straightforward or creative. Clues can be information about characters or events or puzzles or more (though we do try to stay away from outright puzzle spoilers). Everyone who wishes to participate can post the name of the game that best matches the clue. If no one has guessed after a few attempts, "It" gives another clue. The person who guesses correctly then becomes "It" and posts a clue for a different game, and so on. If you've posted a guess, or if you are "It," check back every day to see if you've guessed right or if you need to identify the correct guesser, so the game continues smoothly! (When thinking up clues, a good place to look for possible ideas is the GameBoomers collection of adventure walkthroughs -- plenty of inspiration there.) First ClueSince it's been such a long time since the previous Name the Game thread, I'm going to start off with a new clue. Clue #1: Who knew that caterpillars have so many useful "moves"? **************************************** If you wish to see the previous Name the Game thread before we took a break, click here. (For those interested, the current thread titles are listed below. Yes, there is a pattern of sorts. ) Triumphal Turkey Swaggering Sugarplums Blithesome Bubbly Conquering Conversation Hearts Rhapsodic Rabbit

Hm, I probably shouldn't guess, as I won't be able to post a clue until later tomorrow afternoon. However, I think I might know the answer, so I'm going to give it a try. If I get it right and am too slow, and someone else wants to play the next round for me, that would be fine. Is it The Whispered World?

Boomerang -- you are correct! Sadwick is the main character and the game is The Whispered World. Over to you for the next clue!

Ok, here we go. I am going to be mean and ask for the name of the person, and the name of the game. "Its trails will lead her across the channels of Venice, through the dark alleys of Cairo and further, into the unknown". This was taken from the blurb at the back of the game box. Good Luck.

Mad, it was indeed! Okay, here is my clue: I keep a notebook with me at all times, yet I am never able to read it.
