I got Carol reed Time stand still from big fish games when i was using windows xp I had no sound in the game. I now have windows 7 but there is no sound on Carol reed Time stand still. I do not know how to fix. Big fish where no help at all what a waste of money. All they told me was to redownload it wish i did but still no sound.

I hope Jenny or Inland has some suggestions for you. I tested Remedy, Hope Springs Eternal and Time Stand Still for the game developer when he rewrote some code in the games to make them compatible with Windows 7. All three played perfectly with no sound issues on my 64-bit Windows 7.

betty, when not trying to play Carol reed Time stand still do you have any sound? Such as when Windows opens or closes, or if a sound has been assigned to a message box? Is this a new computer or an existing one? A new one may be set up correctly, but as I understand it when installing Windows 7 you basically start from scratch with new everything. In which case, is your sound card working properly? If you play a music file can you hear it? These are just a few questions to get a better idea what you have.
