Okay, Space Quest. Not sure if this one will be any better or not, but here you go : Why doesn't anyone believe me? They keep telling me I'm seeing things, but I'm not!

Well it sounds like it could be one of the ghost hunting games that I have not played. Could it be Nigel from Lost Crown?
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Ha, thanks, Becky. Space Quest, nope, not The Lost Crown. Okay, another clue. This may give it away, but I'm not sure : Horse racing, liquor, and All That Jazz.

No, not either one of those. Okay, let's see if this one is any more obvious : Often time can pass without any input or desire on my part.

Wow, it seems my clues are a lot more diabolical than I thought. Space Quest, I know you've played this game. I remember you mentioning you had in previous posts. Okay, I'll try to give a blatant clue this time: No one wants to share their secrets with me, but it seems paintings and hidden passageways may let me in on their stories.

Space Quest, you got it!! Yes, it's Laura Bow 1: The Colonel's Bequest. I thought that last clue might finally give it away. Clue 1 - Laura carries a notebook with her throughout the entire game, yet you are never able to read her notes. I always thought that was odd. Clue 2 - Laura keeps telling the people around her about all the murders she's witnessed, but everyone keeps telling her she's imagining things. Clue 3 - A couple of characters are gamblers at horse races and another is constantly drunk. "All That Jazz" is a song from the musical, Chicago, which takes place during the 1920's and also involves a lot of scandal and murder. I thought for sure that clue would give it away. Clue 4 - The game takes place in real time, and if you're not careful, the clock can chime before you've uncovered important clues. Clue 5 - Laura has to sneak around behind walls and spy on people through holes in paintings in order to learn their secrets. Okay, Space Quest, over to you!

Thanks for all of the hints Venus. I was stuck until your last clue.
Here is my first hint. I am looking for a character from the Monkey Island series. This character is one of only five people to have appeared in all five Monkey Island games. The other four are Guybrush, Elaine, LeChuck and the Voodoo Lady.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Clue #2
The character is know for his fashion choices. He also has a habit of waving his arms when he is talking and taping his foot while listening.
