I imagine a fix will be forthcoming.

Someone posted on the BFG forum that an updated version of the game is now available. Since I wasn't able to use up my entire hour of the demo, I uninstalled it, so I'm going to download it again to see if the problems have been fixed.

I am SO glad I checked in here. Been tearing my hair over this "game already running". Thought it was my computer.

Thanks, everyone. I guess I'll just pass on this one. No sense buying a game that "maybe" will work as it should. Lots of other good ones out there.

I tried the updated version of the game & it fixed my problem of not reloading.Don't know about the floating cursor or slow mo because they weren't issues for me.

I uninstalled the game..Then reinstalled..Now it works Perfect No floating mouse.

How did you get the updated version? I can't delete the original version because I get the "another game already running".

You have to uninstall it from the BigFish game manager...

You have to shut down & then restart your computer. That will clear the "Game already running". Then open your game manager & delete the Haunted Halls game. After that is done go to Big Fish & click on My Account then Purchase History. Scroll down to Haunted Halls & click on Install Now. It will install the newer version of the game. Hope this fixes it for you.

Thanks! That worked. However, I lost a big chunk of what I had already done in the game. I hope all this flap doesn't deter any more gamers from downloading this game. It is REALLY a great game!

I've had this problem occur with several BF games but this is the first time that I'm aware of it happened to multiple players. The fix worked for me too and I couldn't leave it alone!! Guess what I did all day yesterday? A very good game indeed!

Just popped in to add my praise for this game. So glad they came up with the "fix". I enjoy games that are "off center" and this one really is strange. Loved it.

I just finished Haunted Halls also. I really enjoyed it. Very nice game.

Tried it, but it was so slow and the cursor took forever. My first HO screen just froze after finding the first object.

Deleted it and will try downloading again to see if it is any better.

A new version was released 4 days ago; I hope the game runs well for you now, orchid girl.
