Iam in the cave where you have to follow the light to draw a pentagram. I have been trying fo ages but I can't do it. Is there a save to get past it.

Hi, I'm stuck again. Has anyone got a save for just after developing the microfilm in the dark room. I can get as far as the fixing tray and then he always says it is good for the trash.

Mave.

Please check other profiles. My profile might be different from yours.
Also be sure that you renumbered the file to be the last one in the folder.

Keep us posted.

There is only one, Profile 1 and there were 8 saves in there.I added yours to them and renumbered it 9 but when I went to load the game there were still only 8 showing. What have I done wrong?

Mave,

Mave,

Switch over to her profile when you reach that point and see if the save doesn't show up. If the first profile you try doesn't work, try another. I think this is going to do it.

You need to draw a pentagram in the dirt using the knife, forming a continuous line of blue light.

Here's what the walkthrough says:

Use the knife on the blue light. Click-hold the knife on the blue light to form an unbroken line that will not break. Form a pentagram. It is best to have a steady speed. Remember where the corners are located and where to change direction.
If error occurs, it will start from another point of light. The longer the line is unbroken, the brighter it becomes.

And a few extra pointers:

The light will disappear if you move the knife away from the course that the blue light is on, or if you hesitate and stop the knife altogether, even if it is only for a second or two. The puzzle then resets to a different point. The trick here is to try over and gradually learn the shape of the pentagram and where the turns are located. That way you can anticipate the lines and turns as you follow the light with the knife.

luck
