I/Darren am in the bunker but can't seem to use the dynamite. I have attached the fuse cable and gone upstairs to the detonator. It keeps telling me that I need to attach the fuse cable but I have already done that. I tried to get the extra stick of dynamite from the locker but can't. What did I miss?

Be sure that you have placed the dynamite on the hatch and have attached the other end of the fuse cable to it also. The other end of the fuse cable should be attached to the detonator.

You can get another dynamite when you need it.

I put the dynamite and fuse on the lower hatch. I couldn't figure out how to attach it to the detonator from way down there. Tonight I will try to attach it on the upper one and see if I have better luck.

The other end of the fuse should be in inventory and that is what you click on the detonator. Be sure that you identified the detonator first.

I didn't realize that the cable went up the ladder. I was able to detonate it. However, I am now trying to go to the water tank. I have the magnesium flares and an old water hose. I thought that I had another hose that I used on something but can't find it. I did the lever thing and used the gloves on the pipe. I can't advance.

Go back to the water tank room - the room behind the jail cell. There's another water hose there.

Where is the water tank room? Behind the cell? Do I leave the bunker to get to it?

The whole area is the bunker.
Go back to the right to the cell where you were locked up.
Behind that is a door to the water tank room.

Thanks MaG. I forgot about that room. I connected one of the hoses but according to the WT I am supposed to go down the hatch and connect the other one (longer hose). I have been down both hatches but can't find a way or place to attach the hose to the water outlet. Is it in the first lower hatch or the one below that?

In inventory, combine the 2 water hoses. Use the long hose on the outlet at bottom right of the left water tank.

Go back and down the hatch. Use the longer hose (on the water outlet) on the hatch.

So connect the 2 hoses first.
Then attach the connected hose to the left water tank in that room behind the cell.
Take the other end now and go down the hatch. Place the other end on the hatch.
The parenthesis is the label.

I am confused about this part. I can't seem to figure out how to use the longer hose on the water outlet on the hatch. Where do I put it on the hatch? I have tried multiple spots but nothing works. On the top of it, down in the hatch?

You combine the 2 hoses to change it to long hose.
You attach one end to the water tank at the water tank room.
You still have the other end of the long hose in inventory.
Go down to the bottommost hatch.
Click the end of the long hose on the hatch.
Your aim is to flood the big room below.
Then turn the water on at the water tank room. See if that works.

Sorry that I am so dense but I have done all of the above steps but I can't find anyplace to attach the hose. I have clicked everywhere but nothing shows up that I can interact with to attach the hose

As I mentioned before, the sentence in the walkthrough:
Use the longer hose (on the water outlet) on the hatch. means that hose is labeled "on the water outlet" because it is attached to the water tank upstairs.

The hose you are carrying is the other end - it is a loose end that should be placed on the open hatch so that it can flood the room below.

Check this German walkthrough's picture - go to page 45 - German Walkthrough. See that the other end is just placed on the open hatch.

I see what I was doing wrong. I was trying to attach the loose end to something instead of just putting it in the hatch. I know that I am supposed to flood it so don't know why I thought that I needed to attach it. I can be dense sometimes. I will do that and try again. Thanks for making it clearer to me.

Thanks Rushes! I hope it will be released in the States and not just in England. Also, I hope they have a different voice for Darren. I didn't like his voice. It was one of the few things that I didn't like about this game.I liked the ending; it took me by surprise. Don't want to say more and spoil it for others who haven't played it yet.
