Vanquish arrived yesterday PM and of course I rushed to play it. And this is it: I know I could play it if I could get past the tutorial. On casual of course. It might be a difficult game but looks like a good one - for shooters. My favorite shooter so far is Killzone 2. I play it all the time along with Oblivion. Also arrived is Sonic racing game which is pure funfunfun. And Williams pinball collection. And these all for PS 3. Happy gaming and Merry Christmas all

Thanks Yankee! Let me know if the game is more difficult than the Demo, I had a hard time beating the big boss of it. There is also the instant kill type Demo, not easy but fun.

Hey mcc - can't play the demo because not online yet. When my son gets over here he can hook it up. Now the game -it's one devinely evil difficult game, so far and I've just started. However remember how hard resistance 1 was at the start but then it lightened up? Maybe this is the same. Is your boss battle the one in the beginning where the robot transforms from an octapus thing to an upright shooting thing. This game could be as difficult as demons souls and I'm playing it on auto easy. If you rent games it might be a good one for that - just if you want to buy later on when it's cheaper. I payed 49$ for it but I'll be playing it a long time. What are you playing now? I'm doing odyssey journey. It's an intreging story. Some scenes remind of Fallout. Odyssey normal is easier than Vanquish autoeasy.

Hi Yankee! I finished playing Medal of Honor, very easy, and now I am playing Wolfenstein that I had not played when it came out, apart from some stealth soldiers than more often than not kill me, up to now it is also easy.
It seems that the boss battle in the Vanquish Demo is the same you describe. I may buy when it goes down in price a lot. As far as I know not many people are playing it. I have Demon Souls, have not been playing it a lot, I find frustrating the way one "reincarnates" and I am much better with guns than swords.
Resistance was difficult with some of the big bosses, also I played it when I was quite new in consoles.
