Hello,

I enjoyed this game very much and wanted to try the alternate path. The first time, I played the insurance agent, the second as the journalist. I also picked the lock to room 507, and broke into Hellouin's with the hammer.

Anyway, I'm now in Gus's room after Hellouins arrest. Following MaG's WT, I go to Hellouin's, but his mother is not answering the door and the box in the desk is open and empty - did I goof somewhere?

I somehow don't think that the notes are used as evidence in the end, but just wondering.

Thanks,
Adam

Adam,

That box you mentioned - that is the safe?

Be sure that you read the journal that is either in the menu or at the inventory.
Also double check the closet in the Eaton's apartment and you got all that is in there.
Keep us posted.

Yes, the safe in the desk. I got the items from the closet (Sophia's letter, passports, and a sketch of the Head of Baphomet).

I wonder if the alternate path negates the notes in the safe? Also, I opened the door to the Whytes room and got the items inside, before entering Hellouin's office.

Sorry if my post wasn't clear.

Maybe your way is different from what I got. As long as your moving forward - that's great. Enjoy the game.
