Hi All,

Maybe someone can give me some advice. I have a free game at Big Fish and I want an adventure game rather than a Hidden object. When I click on adventure game category I get listed mostly hidden object games. I assume the ones they list are a combination of adventure and hidden object I'm not sure.

Anyway I got the Legend of Crystal Valley before which is an adventure game and I would like a similar game. I prefer 3d person but would pick a 1st person if it were truly an adventure game.

So anyone have any suggestions?

Hi oldman -- if you check Bigfish's Large File Games you'll recognize some adventure games -- there might be a few you haven't tried yet.

In terms of third person adventures, you might consider Emerald City Confidential -- it's from Wadjet Eye (the developer of the Blackwell adventure series). The puzzles are on the easy side (I know you like tough puzzles ), but the story is excellent.

It's not in third person, but I'd also recommend Drawn: The Painted Tower. The puzzles are tougher, and the environments are unusual.

If you'd like to sink your teeth into tough puzzles and don't mind a bit of hidden object searching, try The Fall: Separation, which is by Kheops (developers of Return to Mysterious Island, etc.) --- also a first person game.

Thank you tons Becky. That made it easier to narrow my search. A lot of the big file games I have already played to I ended up choosing Emerald City Confidential. I enjoyed the Blackwell games so figured I would this as well. And.........it's free.

Lucky you Oldman to get free game at Bigfish! I love Bigfish...i like games that are kind of spooky/eerie and mysterious -so while waiting for the next in Wm Fisher and/or Johnathan Boakes games i get myself the great spooky/mysterious IHOGS they now have!! This month and last month there were several really good ones...the IHOGS have some hidden object tasks but they also have many puzzles within the game which keeps them so very interesting and entertaining! If you check the 'casual games' forum here you'll see info on quite a few of them! Hope you enjoy your game!

I think it was probably the "back up" disk - and I had to buy the download version first - but I know I had to wait a long time before it became available ....
In cases like that I never play till I have the disk
