Is that the slider puzzle you were talking about?

BF technical support had me do several updates to my system, didn't help so they've given me a coupon for a free game in place of this one, since I can't finish it and they don't know when the games producer will have a debugged version.

I'm at the same place Jody and having same problems.

Can I assume, even tho there have been problems with this game, there has been no update to fix anything with this game?

Jody, the wt is wrong. what you are looking for is to the right of thr door.three circles 2 bottom are silver, top white. that;s it,

I tried the demo, but won't be getting it. My mouse is very sluggish. Some of the items are very hard to find - too small.

Even with the problems, I am fascinated with this game and will put on some bigger boots and keep plodding thru..

I used my last few minutes of "trial" and looked by the door, saw the magnifying glass by the speaker (which has 2 and 1 like you advised me) BUT it won't let me pick up anything because it is not an HO scene. SO...thanks for trying to help but I guess it is no go for me.

Again thanks for the help...hope you aren't freezing in Florida today like we all in the south have been enduring where we just ain't used to it!!! Also hope the crops made it through... that's all we need now to have my favorite Florida fruits and veggies be frozen.

Jody, on mine the white circle above the silver on the speaker was the mag glass. sorry yours isn't.

Finished this game. No technical problems, BUT. Gears collecting. I thought there was a problem, tapped the rock, found gear, hammer vanished from inventory. Pressing the hint button showed a circle round where the gear was found. (This was/is misleading). Only much later did I discover you need to back off to an earlier scene to get the final 3 gears. Get another tool to use there.

Slider puzzle worked as it should, occasionally missing a movement (click on centre of the side near edge which you want the block to move to).

A good game, made you cast around to find the way forwards a few times. It's linear, so if a HOG screen does not appear then check everything has been done in previous screens.

Thank you for all of that useful information, boomerang. I do think that possibly a few of the glitches that folks were reporting had to do with a misunderstanding of the way the game "worked." The game sounds tricky, but rewarding.

I dug both holes but one never game me a gear.

Guybrush, I checked the theads at BF and couldn't find an answer. I hope someone that played may have some insight.

I did get a credit for another game, long spent. So how does this game end?

I haven't played the game so can't tell you about the ending. You could always look at the walkthrough.

Well, for the second time through on a different system with higher specs I still can't get past the ants on the column - the cursor just won't move. I'm not misunderstanding how the game works, lovely game as it is it has a few glitches! I do feel very annoyed because I now always download a demo first & can accept if a game just won't work - but to get over halfway through the game for it to come to a standstill is infuriating because the developers have obviously changed the way the animation/graphics work!

I believe you! It seems a certainty that the game does indeed have some glitches.

Sorry for all the trouble you've had with the game. Be sure to write to Customer Support as I'm confident they will give you a game credit.
