I am in the bar have the key to open lock got to window and do not see an actual padlock just a thick section of bar.Got the empty bottle and tried to get bartender to fill it but Nicole Does not feel like talking?!!! I feel I may have missed something but after checking walkthrough I dont see what that could be
Can anyone help me please?

See where the cursor is located - that is the padlock.

Hi, Thanks for the German wt, I do have the correct
section,I still have an issue with regards to getting the oil bottle filled,Nicole says "I dont feel like talking right Now"?!!! that is where I am stuck at I have the bottle, screwdriver,paper towel, cleaner, but I cannot seem to get Nicole to ask for the oil!
Can you help?

Hi ladyjane,

Try right-clicking on both the padlock and the key itself, so that Nicole notes that both are rusty. Also right-click on the empty oil bottle in inventory. Then try talking again to the bartender.

Right-clicking on everything is a must in this game.

Hi Rushes, I tried rt clicking and it says solid bars cant force them, rt clicking on key she says she cant be sure its the right Key?then its says its been here a while its rusty? I still cant get oil!

Have you actually tried the key on the padlock so she knows it is the right one? I'm sure you already have, but I can't think what else you might have missed doing. Another member had the exact same problem a week ago, but they never posted back to say if they found a solution. Perhaps go back to an earlier save and replay this part through again, and that might unstick you? I don't have a saved game at this point, unfortunately.

Did you click on the cursor pointing to padlock on the picture I mentioned above?

Yes I did, she says solid bars

Hi, I started again, encountered exact same problem,until I rechecked the German wt and by putting get the cursor exactly where MaG said was I able to trigger the padlock it seems to be quite linear!, Thanks to Rushes and MaG for helping

Hi and Happy New Year to everybody, I have a major problem in that the bomb keeps going off even following the wt.I am at the power plant up on the gantry 3rd level, it says to spray fire extinguisher and undo screws well I have tried and tried now I am asking for a save PLease !!!

PS I have tried with extinguisher and without with no good results

I'll send you a few saves around this point that were forwarded to me by another member a while ago, hopefully one will be what you need.

Hi, I am unstuck thanks Rushes, I should mention that even though I renamed the files, The place I found them was at the beginning of my saves, the only thing that justifies that is the game read the earlier date!

Yes, if the game recognises the saves in date/time order, you'll likely have to scroll way back to find the new ones. Glad you're progressing now!

I am so stuck. I can not get the wrapper that was on the bomb outside the FBI office. I opened the box and talked to the man in the room but I can't get any further. I fallowed the wt but no help...Please help me. I am going crazy.

Is this the wrapping which Nicole needs to fold in different ways to reveal the numbers? If so you would have had to do that before even being able to open the box.

Or is this the second wrapping from later in the game? If so, there is no box to open there, it was already detonated.

So I'm a little unclear as to exactly where you are.

Sorry...It is the first one. I did not get the wrapping before opening the box. Now I can't get it at all. I really did not want to start over because I had a hard time with that bomb machine. I am not to far into the game.

I'm not sure if doing things out of order that way will affect the game adversely or not. Have you spoken to Wang up in the lab? He is the one who should give you the wrapping.

Have you tried following every other step in the walkthrough apart from that, which would help you progress to the next scene in the amusement park?

It's possible you may need to go back to an earlier save game and replay this part through again.

I have tried everything. I have talked to everyone but it will not let me go any further...I even and found the wt online. I missed that one step. I was trying not to have to go back. I had a hard time with the box puzzle. That stupid controller killed me...lol. I was hoping someone had a save game I could use.
