Hi all,

I keep getting knocked off the BFG site onto a pixel.fetchback website.

Anyone know if BFG is having problems?

I did a quick scan with Malwar which found nothing, then used CCleaner and clean out a bunch of stuff.

Also, I recently found a Google Chrome icon on my desktop and am not sure how I got there.

Wanted to check with you re: BFG before checking in with the tech people.

Also, it sounds like you might have been installing something that also offered to install the Google Chrome Toolbar and you didn't uncheck that option?

I have been downloading the entire day and also reading lots of forums, so no problems for me.

I've moved your topic over to the techies; that pixel.fetchback sounds weird to me and maybe you've got something on your computer that you need to get rid of.

Well, the good new is that the Google Chrome icon is gone and BFG and me are ok!

CCleaner must have taken care of all that [blip]

Good news. Post here if you have any other problems with this.

Pixel fetchback is Adware - it basically tracks your activity and displays banner ads in your browser.

I'm not sure why it would knock you off BFG.

Maybe Spybot would get rid of pixel.fetchback?

I've been playing games on bfg for a long time and the only problem I ever had was my password, but got that taken care of.

Everything is fine now. The Google Chrome icon is gone and no further site problems.
