If you haven't played do not read on... I just finished black mirror but Im not sure I understand the ending can someone explain? So he closed the portal of evil but then he kills himself out of guilt? So who killed William in the first place? Im a little confused.

Yes, I understood that, thank you but who killed William in the very beginning? Samuel didn't get there until after William's death. Was William also carrying the curse?

It has been a long time since I played the game but I thought Samuel killed William because he was going to tell good Samuel how to end the curse.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I've always thought that The force of evil had somehow already partially escaped and, when William removed the ring to give it to Samuel, William was no longer protected. So the force of evil somehow rose up to the top of the tower (that's what we see in the cut scene at the begining of the game) and either frightened William so much he fell out the window, or managed somehow to toss him out the window.
As far as I know, Samuel was still in the US when William died.

Samuel came to black mirror because he got a mourning card about Williams death so he was already dead when he arrived at black mirror. Im confused.

Hmmm. I guess you were correct. Thank you for finding this. Samuel must have arrived earlier and did the deed and then had amnesia or something about it. A little bit weird but thanks again.

Space Quest -- some interesting theories on the part of a reviewer who has clearly thought a lot about the game! I still don't see any reason to believe that Samuel was in England at the time of William's death, though. Maybe I missed the evidence of that?

Becky, All I know is that I thought the game was very good. The plot has a lot of holes and it is funny that I'm still not sure exactly what happened but I can't wait to get my hands on Black Morror 2. merry, Just because that site agrees with what I thought doesn't mean we are right. Becky is one smart cookie and the fact that she saw it different than I did means I wouldn't bet a nickel that I was right.

I didn't think he could have committed one of the other murders either , having been out of the country or so I thought. I have Black Mirror 2 hope to have it done before 3 is available.

Plot holes and all I still liked it. It just seems like it would have been pretty easy to pull the plot holes together in the end but whatever. After all the hoops I had to jump through to get it to run on my computer it didn't disappoint. On a side note, I just got an email from adventure company that they fixed all the sound crashes on the downloaded version....of course on the same day that I finished the game. I had to buy a hard copy too and download some fixes to get it to work on my system. Ugh! It took me weeks and weeks but it was worth it.
